This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with car shopping. We had John Tarantelli as our sales consultant. After pulling up the credit he says its a great score, but there's just not a lot built up yet. Then he asked how much of a down payment we were willing to put down. Mind you we came to look at a Pontiac g6 listed for 4,500. We said as of today, we have 700. Other than that, we will have a larger down payment in a couple days ( payday). After John left the room a few times to talk to other salesmen, he finally comes back and says we can't get financed based on our credit. Then stutters and asks if we can put 1000 down. We told him again not today because we only have 700, but Friday we both get paid. Then we will basically cover most of the car payment. He laughed under his breath. So I asked if we could test drive it to see if its the car we want and he said no. He denied us even to test drive there 2008 Pontiac for 4,500. Being serious buyers, we immediately googled another Pontiac g6 and found one at Columbus Auto Source on Frank Road 1390. I called and spoke with Matthew Paley who then had the Pontiac started and already warmed up for us when we got there. Within 2 minutes of arriving we were off test driving what turned out to be our dream car. Matt assisted us through the whole process and for the first time it felt like a car dealer was actually on our side. This Pontiac was listed for even more than the one at Bill Leggett Automotive at 6975. I hope that everyone gets the chance to walk away feeling like they won a prize when car shopping. I recommend Columbus Auto Source to anyone looking for great service and dependable cars. I will never waste my time at Bill Leggett Automotive again. If I wanted to be laughed at I would have been a comedian. Not trying to purchase one of your cars. No wonder they stay on the lot for so long.

Outright Liars!Do not, Do not, Do not do business with Bill Leggett Auto unless you are taking someone with you who knows a lot about cars. Insist on popping the hood and trunk and inspecting it all thoroughly before you even test drive. They tried outright lying to me about frame damage- thankfully I've worked on cars for twenty years so I know a POS when I see one. If cash for clunkers was a government repo program, Bill Leggett would have an empty lot.

BUYER BEWARE! I WAS SOLD A CAR WITH A BAD TIMING CHAIN. THEY OFFERED TO PAY 1/2 MY COSTS WHEN I HAD THE CAR LESS THAN 1 WEEK. WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU THEY RETALIATED WITH A NASTY VOICEMAIL AND TOOK THEIR OFFER OF 1/2 OFF THE TABLE. DO NOT BE DUPED BY THIS DOPE!
