I recently moved to the area from out of state and through many online searches and reviews I chose Lexington Women's Care to schedule my new patient appointment. I phoned them on a Monday and had an appointment on Tuesday morning. I was checked in for my appointment and brought to the back office at PRECISELY the appointment time; no waiting! Each person I came in contact with were very both personable yet professional, knowledgeable and took time to listen to me and thoroughly answer all of my questions. I highly recommend them.

TO: Administrator Lexington Woman’s Care Irmo, South Carolina
On 12/27/2011 my wife had surgery by Dr. S.
Today Friday 1/6/2012 my wife made a phone call at 9:00P.M. to your calling service. She had a return call by Dr. P. My wife has been a Nurse for over 35 years and knows Dr. P. from doing his residency at Richland Memorial Hospital for OBGYN.
My wife told Dr. P. in front of me on the phone that her stitches were hanging out; exposing her bowel and that there was pus and a large amount of bright red bleeding. I know as well as my wife that you cannot re-suture a tear after 24 hours.
Dr. P. did say that if she had a temperature, or got worse to go to the E.R. No concern whatsoever about the torn sutures and exposed bowel.
I’m sorry but if I had a suture that came undone inside of me exposing my bowel I would expect more than, “if things get worse go to the E.R.” for a post op situation such as this.
I will hold Dr. P. personally responsible along with Lexington Woman’s Care if anything happens to my wife of 22 years after such a response. It just makes us feel like Dr. P. did not want to go to the hospital to re-suture the tear and look into the infection my wife has. Heaven help us if it becomes septic!
Sincerely,
Patrick & Bette Clark

Excellent services and very kind staff. I dreaded going to the Doctor. I have the waiting and the uncaring service that is so common. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed in which I was helped. They were very busy, but, I was help quickly by one of the best doctors I have ever seen. Since then, I have seen these Dr. Laura Jackson 4 times in the last 5 months. Each time, the staff- Reception, Nurses, The Cashiers, The Appointment Desk, and the lab have been very kind. In my opinion they provide a caring atmostphere to their patient and at the same time they are highly organized so I felt as though my time was respected.
