Columbia Alterations

My previous Seamstress relocated after 5 years. I went to 3 other people over the past year and each time my clothes looked like a beginner Seamstress with little experience had completed the work or my clothes were not completed as I had requested. Mind you now, each Seamstress had me to undress, try on the clothes, clothes were pinned by the Seamstress or marked with a white chalk marker.....but each time, my clothes were not professionally finished as we had discussed. This time I went on-line and googled for a Seamstress who does alterations well. I saw that Columbia Alterations had 5 Stars (*****) and the remarks were very nice. So I sought the business out. I took a skirt and a pair of pants (which someone else had taken out too much in length) to be altered for me. I picked up my items and I must say that I am so well pleased. My clothes are very professionally sewed. She takes much pride in her work and the price is very reasonable as well. I am truly satisfied that I have finally found a place to have my alterations done, as I have lost weight and have dropped from a size 14 to a 12. If you need a good Seamstress, who knows how to do professional alterations then look no further. Columbia Alterations is the place to go!

I've used Columbia Alterations for several years now! She was recommended by a reputable Columbia men's clothier. I've never had a complaint. She is always prompt! I've never had a re-do! It's like finding that excellent barber, where you sit in the chair and He/she know what to do! They know what you like and how you like it! I recommend this business for all your alteration needs!

I have been using Columbia alterations for several years now and could not be happier with the quality work and reasonable prices. I have to have almost everything I buy altered b/c I'm very short and I like my clothes to fit well. Mandy has always done the work in a timely manner and with careful detail. I have brought her things that were complicated and she didn't bat an eye. She returned them to me just the way I had hoped. Since I do have so many alterations done I am aware of what others charge for various items and she is much more reasonable than most. She is always willing to work with me if I need something sooner than scheduled. I would highly recommend Columbia Alterations.

I called to get a few pair of pants altered and when the woman answered the phone, she was extremely short with me and didn't seem to care whether she had any business or not. I asked her how she was doing, tried to be polite and friendly and she didn't seem to be interested whatsoever about anything on my side of the phone. When I asked her about getting the pants altered she told me they couldn't be done until after Thanksgiving. In my area, there is no way they're that busy, so it appeared to me they weren't interested in giving the customer speedy service. There it is, rude and if you do go with their business, it will take over a week to get done. Some of us just don't have that kind of time!
