Overall

I hesitate even having to give 1 star to this place. I had a reservation for a car and when I got there at 5:25, was told they didn't have one for me. I was upset and Tim, the "manager" only made matters worse. When I expressed my frustration, he immediately got defensive and rude. He was smug in the way he addressed me and offered no sense of apology. When I asked what the options were and how I was going to get a car, he offered nothing. He finally started calling a few places but was able to offer me no solutions as it was almost 6 and every place nearby was closing. He rudely informed me that the airport would still be open and that I could get there. I said I could probably do that, but I had checked there earlier and it was significantly more expensive to rent from the airport. I said I could get to the airport if I could rent the car for the same rate. He said he didn't think that would happen. And then he basically stared at me and offered no solutions. I asked what the point of making a reservation was if there were no cars for people who reserve. He explained that he expected to have cars returned and he was hoping they would come. I said that he could have called me at 4:00 and told me there were no cars so that I could have made other arrangements. His response: "Well, I HAD cars at 4:00...and then I rented them out."



At one point I told him that his attitude and tone of voice were not helping matters at all and he responded: "Oh, I'm fine. My car is outside." As I got more and more frustrated with his lack of customer service and his rude demeanor, I was told, "getting upset isn't going to make a car appear, so you might as well stop." He disappeared outside for 25 minutes on the phone and when he came back he just looked at me...offering no update or assistance. He just kept shrugging and asking what I expected him to do.



In the meantime, I was on the phone with Hertz customer service to see what arrangements I could make. At 6:18, Tim walked out of the building with his jacket on. He proceeded to walk by me without saying a word. A few minutes later, he pulled out of the parking lot without so much as a word. He left me (a woman) alone in an industrial park parking lot with no solutions, no apologies, and no resolution to the problem.



I have NEVER experienced this kind of incompetence and disrespect. Tim can be assured that I will escalate this complaint to Hertz corporate offices and WILL see it through until I see some kind of repercussion for his blatant disrespect, arrogance, and unacceptable actions. He not only screwed up my rental car, but he endangered my safety by leaving me stranded in a parking lot. DO NOT USE THIS HERTZ....EVER!!!

Great management!!!

Truth to be said, they are short staffed and it did not start all good but the manager "Abraham" flipped the whole experience 360 dgr. Great customer service and great follow up too, he's customer service oriented and motivated to take the place to the next level. They provided courtesy pick up and drop off when the vehicle was returned. The team are courteous and pleasant. I will definitely use Hertz again and recommend it to Friends and Family!
