UCHealth Urgent Care - Powers

We will be loyal to this place. 2nd time there. You can call ahead and put your name on the waiting room list. They have 2 pen holders, one for clean, one for used at the front desk. IN the patient rooms they have kids table, books and coloring, chalk board wall. There was a plug in for my phone to charge, (most rooms don't have plug ins for you). It's the littlest things that make the best difference, especially when a mommas not got much sleep from sick little ones. Everyone very nice and professional. Got in very quick.

Went w/ my son today for a work drug test. Many employers require this for new employees. First, the waiting room was unclean, and messy. We waited 2 hours to take this urine test. THAT'S TWO HOURS!!!! Unbelievable...My son had to go to the bathroom when we first got there. He waited 2 hours in fear that they would call him back any time. He told them when we 1st walked in that he had to go really bad. They had nothing to say except" there are only two people ahead of you." The girl at the front desk seemed very agitated, I got the feeling that she heard a lot of complaints from patients. The 3 men(construction workers) ahead of us were very angry as well, and let it be known. Really, I would never go back to this place, and I can only surmise that the 5 stars given to this facility by previous reviewers HAD to be friends and family, because NO ONE in their right mind would go there a second time!!! Socialized Medicine at its best......The vetinarians give better service!

What is the purpose of online check in if you're not checked in? I learned the hard way that their online check in means absolutely NOTHING. Doc called in the wrong scrip, nurses and MA were not very nice at all. You'd think that they'd understand that someone who can't breathe at all may be a bit upset that less emergent patients were called back first, yet they did not. Everyone was rude except the doctor, some of them would not even reply when spoken to. I'll never return and I'm looking HARD for their corporate number!!

Visiting Colorado Springs on business and my daughter became ill. Visited with little delay and very attentive service. Made my life much easier while traveling with a 9 year old. Thanks!
