Budget Saver Motel Coeur d'Alene

I came here for the car show June 2015. Place is neat and clean and NOISEY!!!! Guy up stairs did nothing but stomp around - floors must be wood instead of concrete. Asked about a refund as I unexpectedly got ill and was told to write a letter to the property manager. Yeah right. I will stay and use their bathroom. Had unexpected car problems so only had cash when I got here. Another problem. . . additional $50 deposit for cash. That really made me short. I guess life got in the way and Budget Saver does not care as long as they get your money. Think I will spend a little more and know what I'm getting instead of trying to support locally.

I rented a extended stay room which comes with a kitchen, and I have to say it was quite clean and modern. Payment transaction was quick and painless at the office, price was decent, and the staff was helpful and polite :) the only downfalls were the room does not include a microwave or even a phone to make local calls. They also have a no refund policy which kinda sucks but they only allow you to pay for a week at a time so if you have to leave for whatever reason your not out an entire months rent .... Overall, I highly recommend this place. The annex where the extended stay rooms are located, are actually little cozy cottages in the back of the main building, on a regular neighborhood street. So it really feels like your own private studio apartment :)

my wife and I stayed there over the 4th and 5th of July We rented two rooms for the 4th & 1 room for the 5th. The second night we noticed the carpet was turning our feet black. The night management said they did not have another room and helped us put towels all over the floor and told us the price of the motel would be taken care of in the morning. In the morning they called the owner who told us we were not getting anything at all and we can take a leap. I had my credit card stop the charges. my wife and I stay in motels approximately 20 to 30 nights a year. We will never stay in this motel again. we are reporting them to the Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.

I spoke to these guys the day before and when I got there they wouldn't answer the door, the buzzer, or the phone. My teenage daughter and I ended up having to spend the night in a parking lot because everyone else was full.



Thanks Budget Saver for almost ruining my daughter and my thanksgiving...check the web...I am doing my best to return the favor!
