Dental Examination
Have an emergency exam. When you get to our office, we’ll conduct a detailed oral examination to identify the cause of your emergency. Based on our findings, we’ll create a custom treatment plan to get your oral health back on the right track.
X-rays
What can we conclude from the foregoing information? Simply put, the radiation exposure from dental X-rays is quite minimal, and the likelihood of suffering harm from them is next to nothing. Digital dental X-rays are even considered safe for young children and pregnant women.
Oral Cancer Screening
Dr. Kirlough will examine your teeth for any signs of decay, and your gums for irritation, swelling, or bleeding, which are all signs of gum disease. The final portion of your checkup will include an oral cancer screening. Dr. Kirlough will inspect your neck, face, throat, and oral tissues for any abnormalities or common cancerous symptoms such as red and white patches located in your mouth.
