Med Plus Urgent Care

Waste of time and co pay. Rude staff and worthless doc. She’s pbviously been sued b/c she’s more worried about liability and would rather refer than treat. Retire already and quit wasting peoples time and money.

This is one of the most caring Physicians I think I have ever been treated by ...Thank you Dr. Lohre!

My husband visited this facility today. Not only were they rude but they also did not help him with the problem he was having and gave him a generic "you probably caught something" response and sent him on his way. I hate Urgent Care to begin with and this place just confirmed my feelings.

I am a busy working mom who can’t take off of work to get my son a flu shot. I went to Med-Plus Urgent Care on Montgomery road. We didn't need an appointment and I love the convenient hours they are open. On top of that, my son was given his shot by a doctor, not a health aide like you find at the grocery store or drug stores drop-in clinics. It gave me piece of mind to know that my son got just as good of treatment as he would at my pediatrician or better. They even take my insurance. This is a great option for busy parents like me.

I know the owner Steve and his sister Dr. Susan personally. When and if you need to go here, you will be treated like family and by a board certified physician, not merely a nurse practictioner. They genuinely care for all their patients and treat them with empathy. As a bonus, their facilities are clean, staff is courteous and professional and prices are reasonable.

I had to visit Med Plus recently for a serious skin condition that had suddenly gotten worse and was not able to get into my family doctor as it was late on a Friday. The staff was very professional and I was seen quickly and was on my way to the pharmacy and home long before my wife expected me. The condition was completely cleared up in 2 days. I highly recommend Med Plus.

I had my son treated at Med+, the staff was great. Got us back quickly, (Which with a 1 yrs. old that did not feel good is great by it self). Dr. Lohre answered all our questions and put our concerns to rest. Bing a first time parent there were a lot. Every one was very friendly and professional. I would recommend Med+ to anyone needing non life threatening medical care!

I waited for over an hour before the staff took my information. They said they were "busy". There was one other person in the waiting room. They were rude and defensive when I ask them how much longer the wait was. They also refused to do anything unless I got an X-ray. I insisted that the area was not broken and there was no chance of it being broken. I think they just wanted to charge more money. I will NEVER come back here and recommend no one else come here either.

I have to agree with Janna on this. Worst place ever!



Backstory....a co-worker confided in me that she had been having issues with anxiety and depression. I told her she should go see a dr about it and look at an Anti-depressant. Well she just moved and couldnt get a primary doc appt within 4 weeks. So i recommended an urgent care might be able to give her a months worth to get her started until she could get an appt.. She doesnt have a car or license and was very scared about doing this. She asked me to come along with her. I agreed.



This young lady is only 18 and has had A LOT go on in her life. Her mother had schizophrenia, committed suicide when she was 2, she was adopted by her aunt, and to top that off she has a form of MS. All at the tender age of 18!



When the dr came in and asked about her problem she responded she has anxiety in social situations and doesn't enjoy the activities she once did.



She became very upset and nearly crying just talking about it to which Dr Lohre responded " Well you're going to have to tell me the problem in order for me to help you". With a very cold, uncaring demeanor. I was irate at this point for her belittling attitude toward her, but I held it in. I wanted to hug her but Dr Lohre showed ZERO emotion/empathy!!



All this young lady wanted was an anti-depressant/SSRI to which she responded she would not, as only a primary care physician would. I can understand that, but certainly not her demeanor at all!!



It took all the courage this young lady had just to GO to the dr about this as she is very proud, and to be treated like that was just...well...terrible!!



There are several signs asking to turn off your cell phones which I did by silencing mine. During her conversation my phone rang and she asked me if i "wanted to take care of that" I told her no, i wasn't going to take a phone call in the middle of an office visit. She said "No I mean turn it off" I told her it was off and she said "well i can still hear it and it is disruptive". I lost my cool at this point and asked her if she'd like me to smash it to pieces as it was already on silence. I was beyond fed up with her demeanor at this point. I'm a 35 year old man, not her pupil.



I have owned a small business successfully for 11 years and if I treated my customers the way Dr Lohre and most her staff do, I would be out of business.



Dr Lohre, I hope you read this and understand what an egregious disservice you did this young lady today.



At one point I felt as if Dr Lohre was insinuating I had some inappropriate relationship with this young lady. Very unprofessional! I guess no good deed really does go unpunished!



Stay far, far away from this place unless you like getting insult added to your injury! SMH!

I was treated for a broken ankle and MED+ took great care of me. A Board Certified doctor saw me. They had x-ray and I was referred to a Ortho doctor the same day. They staff was very nice and the nurse was Registered. I would bring my kid or parent to MED+.

This was the worst urgent care I had ever been to in my entire life. The whole staff were at least in there 50's or 60;s and rude as could be. I didnt get the treatment i needed either. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy!
