Madeira City Manager s Office is responsible for day-to-day administration of city affairs and implementation of council policies. It prepares budgets for city council and recruits, hires and supervises staff of different departments. The manager s office is responsible for financial forecast. It also organizes budget workshops. Madeira City Manager s Office operates under the government of the City of Madeira, Ohio, which also maintains finance, fire, human resources, parks and recreation, planning and zoning and police departments. The city of Madeira also operates solid waste and recycling, tax and sewer departments. Its public works department offers street maintenance, landscaping, recycling, transportation, and water supply and pollution prevention services.
