I have been to William Effler Jewelers several times now and the staff is always extremely nice and helpful. I have purchased a few pieces and the customer service has never been a disappointment, each experience has been wonderful and exciting.

If you're looking for a staff with expertise, compassion and patience to help purchase or design the perfect engagement ring, William Effler's should be your first stop.

I have been working with Effler jewelers for the past few years. They seem to really understand my tastes as well as price range so I get exactly what I am looking for. The service is also always fantastic which is what keeps me coming back.

I have been looking to buy my girlfriend something nice for her birthday, so I dropped by the Kenwood Towne Center in search of a nice necklace at one of the jewelry stores. I didn't see much that caught my eye, so I headed down to the Hyde Park area and found William Effler Jewelers, which was a nice change in pace. In general their items seemed to be of higher quality then much of what was at the mall, and they were friendly but not too pushy like at Kenwood, which can be very annoying. While I didn't end up getting anything there, I did find it to be a great store.

The selection here is very impressive. They have a large selection of all kinds of jewelry: diamonds and gemstones, rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches, etc. As far as the gifts, they have a lot of porcelain figures, as well as some nice baby gifts, clocks, and Waterford Crystal items, among other things. Overall, William Effler Jewelers is a very good store, and being that it is a long-standing local business makes it that much better.

William Effler is my favorite store in Cincinnati- not just because of the wonderful jewelry they carry, but especially because of the wonderful owners. Adam is always there with a helpful opinion and time to chat. You all have been a pleasure to work with and it makes shopping here even better.

I came here to get my watch repaired a few weeks ago. It was originally my father’s watch and had been sitting in my sock drawer for years. I did not think they would even be able to repair it because I tried to get it repaired years ago and they told me it was trash. A few days later they called to tell me the watch was ready! I could not believe it, and I am very grateful.

William Effler had the cheapest out of 3 different stores that I called to get a rare watch battery replaced. They were very fast and helpful as well.

For my husbands birthday, I got his grandfathers watch repaired. I went to a few different jewelers in the area. Effler was not the cheapest, but I was very impressed with the store and the kindness I was shown when I was there. The salesman told me they have a watchmaker on staff with over 20 years experience. With that, I was sold. I also had them engrave the watch along with the repair. It took less then a week to get it back. Imagine the shock and joy my husband expressed when he say his birthday present.

Took my wife's engagement and wedding bands in to get the fused and cleaned up, as well as my own band to have it bumped up a 1/4 size. A lot of the jewelers along Wabash have a bit of a shady feel to them, but William Effler was very clean and well put together. I brought the rings in around 1pm and they were done by 5pm. That's some super fast server. They even polished and re-brushed (brushed metal finish) my ring. Highly recommended.

Next month is mine and my wife's 7 year wedding anniversary so I decided to visit William Effler Jewelers. I wanted to come up with something original to get her so me and the sales woman came up with a custom made ring with our 2 kids birth stones, my birth stone and her birth stone set in 24k yellow gold with a matching necklace. The cost for both was really good. Thank you for the extra help you all provided me! I know she will love it!!

I absolutely LOVE this store! I love the uniqueness of it. You can't find jewelry like this in commercial-type stores. I definitely think the other reviewer had a language barrier/cultural differences. My experiences were flawless and can't wait to get the chance to go back.

I stumbled upon this place maybe 2-3 years ago. I love that there's a wide range of things to pick and choose from. If you're like me who likes simple pieces, you can find some here. Or if you like bold jewelry, there's plenty of that too.

Most recently I purchased a beautiful necklace for my friends birthday. Its a stunning combination of stones including peridot, garnet, carnelian and pearls. The colors exactly match the flowers she had at her wedding and the craftsmanship is immaculate. Whatever colors, stones or style of jewellery you like, William Effler has something for literally everyone.

All I gotta say is that, thanks to this place, I'm now rocking a fabulous, huge rock (*not* a diamond, thank-you-very-much!) set in recycled 18k gold (provided by me)!



It's gorgeous and no one else in the world has anything exactly like it!
