I have a Sanyo 55" HDTV LCD re...

I have a Sanyo 55" HDTV LCD rear projection that was not working. The tech from Blue Chip was very polite, honest, and knowledgeable. He removed the back panel and found dust had collected around the cooling fans and were not allowing the TV to ventilate properly (which is why the lamp blew out). So I tried to save money and buy a lamp on-line and install myself. It blew after a week and I called Blue Chip to see if there was still a service issue. They came and picked up the TV and took it back to the shop. I was dealing with Bob at this point and he checked it out and said that the set checked out okay after installing a genuine Sanyo bulb and running the set for a day or so. He told me I shouldn't buy the generic bulbs so I promptly (with much difficulty) returned the bad bulb to the on-line store I bought it from. Blue Chip then sent two guys to bring my TV back and it's been working like a charm for about 2 years straight.



Side note: I'm a salesperson by trade and I've been selling Sharp microwaves for over 10 years. I've sent many customers to Blue Chip for service and it's almost always a good experience. Sometimes it takes one to two weeks because a replacement part takes some time to come in (Blue Chip as well as any other service provider cannot possibly stock every part so they have to order many parts as they are needed)
