According to my girlfriend, I could not have picked a better place for Valentine's day!



This restaurant offers a very intimate environment and the food is delicious. In addition to the great food and service, the wine list is incredible. Vivere boasts the largest wine cellar in the Midwest, with over 40,000 bottles.



This is definitely the place to go when you want to take that special someone on a nice romantic dinner in Chicago!

Ive been to Italian Village several times, but not to Vivere, so I was very impressed upon walking into Vivere and seeing there expansive wine selection. The service was prompt and the wine sommelier suggested a fantastic pairing for the mushroom risotto. This was definitely a different atmosphere than Italian Village, smaller and more romantic, but the service was impeccable, prompt and reminiscent of the excellent service I've had at the Village. I would definitely go here before a show and would recommend making reservations, as this restaurant is always busy. The knowledge that the sommelier had really blew my mind. I would also recommend the gnocci and the cream sauce....too die for!!!

Was sitting on a plane reading the inflight magazine (United) when I came accross the 10 best Italian Restaurants in Chicago. Vivere was listed so we decided to give it a try. What a score. The best food and service I have ever had in the City of Wind and the Wine list is like a phone book! Each time we visit we will go back! Brenda W.
