This was a quaint out of the way from the hustle and bustle of downtown Chicago but well worth the visit. We had breakfast outside and it was the best. We got there just before it opened. We had great service, excellent food, and it was fast. Loved the outdoor setting!! You get a lot of food so you do get your money's worth in my opinion. If you are in the upper Lincoln Park area, this is the place to go for breakfast or lunch. Note: It closes at 3 p.m. Check out their website. They have menus posted. I had the French Toast, my partner had an omelette.

I have lived in the neighborhood by Tweet for 5 years and yet to tire of going to brunch on Saturday and Sundays! It's a very popular place for all walks of life from couples to couples with kids and groups, gay and lesbians and even alternative patrons. I don't think there hasn't been a time where I didn't have to wait but that really doesn't effect the enjoyment of going. There is a bar that is open serving Mimosas and very tasty Bloody Mary's that help pass the wait, and even board games to play. This is not a place that want to go and leave within 30 minutes, this a place to go and spend some time with your friends. Tweet is the first place I suggest when anyone asks where to go for brunch!
