"With cardiology and infectious disease, I love the detailed aspect of diagnosing the problem and implementing the treatment plan. Even though I may end up referring many cardiology patients to a specialist, I still have a lot of contact with them. I'm also very hands on with infectious disease patients to manage their illnesses. I enjoy caring for special needs children because they're such rewarding kids. They have a lot to give and a lot to teach, and I like that." Clinical areas of interest are preventative care, primary care for pediatric cardiac and infectious disease patients and children with special needs, such as Down syndrome.
