REM Architects is a small, personal service oriented firm with a proven track record with exceptional, technical and design characteristics that can also offer flexibility and expanded capabilities. We maintain and utilize existing partnerships and relationships with larger firms and consultants. This enables a practical and economical scale for services that are negotiable and tailored specifically to the client and project needs. Specialties in healthcare, commercial and residential enables us to offer a broad range of services, including programming, planning, design, Interiors, contract documentation and administration, commensurate to the needs of each client. We have developed and strongly encourage a team approach utilizing input from every member ; staff to manufacturer, client to general contractor, consultants to jurisdictional agencies, providing greater assurance of your projects success. We have been committed to a CADD environment since 1985. We use leading edge technology and software in our CADD department, which includes the ability to provide alternative system resource sharing. Our systems include various programs and platforms that enable the end product and service to be formatted to the specific program requirements. We offer full 2-D, 3-D, solid modeling, animation and rendering capabilities from initial design through contract documentation and Record Drawing management. We can generate Record Documents efficiently for purposes of planning, feasibility and physical assessments, facility management and maintenance, leasing, BOMA surveys and Tenant Improvement purposes. REM Architects has extensive experience working with jurisdictional agencies, including Federal, State and local as well as private affiliations and associations such as JCAHO,, UL, etc. We have an excellent working relationship with State agencies such as, CRA, Coastal Commissions, ORED, FEMA, OSA, OSHPD, State Fire Marshal, OES, Licensing and Certification. In addition, we have work extensively with local jurisdictions, including most cities within Los Angeles County, Santa Barbara County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, Ventura County and Kern County. We are fully versed and extremely knowledgeable of building codes and regulations, in particular Title 24 & 22, including ADA and State Energy Efficiency Standards.
