Love the food here, and the staff is very friendly. I got the brisket and some ribs, very very well done. Sauce on the side is very good, too. Took the braised cabbage and some beans, really delicious. I mean the cabbage was incredible. I could almost come back just for that! My husband got ribs and sausage, beans and coleslaw. He's very hard to please, but he was loving everything he got. I don't understand the negative reviews because the food is off the bone great. The prices are right on for good barbeque. It's not McDonald's, folks, you have to actually pay for good food. I have been to Pecan Lodge, Hard8's, Randy's in Red Oak, just about every Dickey's from Desoto to Plano, Andersons in Dallas, all good and this place is definitely as good. Oh, and Pit Stop in Ennis. I think the other negative reviews were people griping about price, more than food. We are making this a regular stop.

I had a very bad experience here. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich plate with two sides to it. As I was going through the bar to pick my sides I was trying to fill my plate where you would put the two sides on the plate and one of the workers said, " You know buddy, you're only suppose to do one dip, you know what I mean?" I said...oh, when in all reality I had no idea what he meant. I went in with a group of three women all doing the exact same thing and he didn't care to pick any of them out. When we were at the cash register he gave me a busted plastic cup where I couldn't keep any refreshment inside of it, so I just had to make due with it. I went over to get sweet tea, hoping it was going to be good, but it was disappointing because it was all watered down tea. I finally sat down to enjoy my entree and the pulled pork was overcooked where the meat was super tough and they cooked out all the flavors of the meat. I went in during lunch time and no one was in there. I'm surprised this place is still in business. I will never come back to this place.

Awesome BBQ! Cooked just right and not too terribly lean so it's still moist. Worth the price - BBQ isn't cheap to make. Staff is extremely nice and accomodating.

we went in for baked potatoes and barbeque and 1 extra size. when all is said and done they tried to charge us 40 dollars. now I can't rate the food because we weren't going to pay all that money for very little food. they are very overpriced and I would not recommend that restaurant
