BEWARE. I am absolutely appalled by the management and customer services in this store. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Me and my husband were driving our truck on the highway in the rain when the truck started acting super weird.

I say what happened and tell Madeem "I just want to know if the truck is safe to drive home real quick, It sounds like the tire might fall off i'm not sure if we should drive it anymore".
I told him I did not want a diagnosis or work to be done.

Next thing I know, the mechanic is doing fast circles around the building, I thought "well I guess the wheel isn't the issue, he must know what he's doing. he's the expert."

Then Madeem comes in and is OFFERING ME A RIDE TO MY TRUCK WHICH IS BROKE DOWN IN THE ROAD.
I asked why is it in the road? why did it leave the parking lot? OF COUSE it broke down, I just told you something is definitely dangerously wrong. His response was to laugh at me and say I guess you don't know how this works. I explained to him that if he did not know, he could have just said that. He cursed at me as I walked out the door, completely uncalled for.

They would not offer to cover the tow truck bill. Not to mention they made the truck immensely worse. My husband rode passenger, he said the mechanic said "yeah we can't fix this" while they were still in the parking lot driving. So why did he decide to drive around the neighborhood? We assumed he knew what he was doing but while raining he gassed it down a hill, then the U joint snapped, and the back tires locked up, causing him to lose control going down the hill. They slid about 30 feet before barely not sliding into an intersection. The mechanic then got out of the car like it was no big deal, and said "oh yeah you should probably get a tow truck". Nothing more. Did not care at all.

DO NOT USE THEM FOR MECHANICAL...

DO NOT USE THEM FOR MECHANICAL WORK!!!

We have used Speedee in the past several times for oil-changes and state inspections without problems. This is why I took my car to them.



The Car Problem: the AC in my vehicle quit working



Short Version: almost $700 later, minute improvement in air flower and loud noise (which was not there before), and a trip to another mechanic with another bill.



Long Version:

I took the vehicle in and said "I think the blower motor may be out. Can you take a look?" The attendant took my vehicle and I waited inside. The mechanic came back and said a blower motor is $283. I let him know I would talk with my husband and no work was done. The following day we dropped the vehicle off in the morning and was told we would receive a call when ready. I received a call saying they replace the blower motor and it is still not working. They said they need to replace the resistor which is and additional $311. We said, ok since apparently that would fix the vehicle. We arrive to pick up the vehicle later in the afternoon. Upon getting in the vehicle the air blows a little but does not increase with the controls. The noise increases but is extremely loud on high with little air output. We go back inside and let the desk lady know the car is not fixed. The mechanic came in and says he replace what we said to replace. Though we did not say "replace the motor blower" we said "We THINK is it the blower, can you TAKE A LOOK?". He took the car to look at it on the initial day. He can back with the price of the blower therefore I figured that was the problem. A proper mechanic would take a look and say "I do/do not think it is the blower. Can I run a diagnostic to check? It will cost ____" They even called me to say it was the resistor. Apparently these guys do not know how to problem solve or fix the problem . If I just needed a quote on the blower motor, why would he have needed to take my car? The mechanic should have looked at the problem and he did not. The work he did do was not done properly as the AC was very loud afterward which was not a problem before. We also spoke with the manager who interrupted when we were speaking. When told about the "We think, can you take a look?" comment his reply is they don't work that way. In the end he told us to leave the property rather than asking what a resolution would be. (The exact total was $680 which included the taxes and an inspection.)
