Deck House Restaurant

Superb dining experience.

In response to the previous review poor service. I think you miss just how good the food is, ie thats why you had to wait. Did you call ahead for your group of 13? I think ppl like you need to really think before you run off. The restaurant has excellent food, and every time I had been with a group of no more than 4 we have had excellent service. Did you really think they should give you your food just because you choose not to wait? Why should ppl like me have to pay more for ppl like you who have no patience? I mean really you seem like one of those ppl who complain just to hear yourself. Appreciation of the wonderful food and the fact that in this days economy businesses are still hanging in there doesn't seem to mean anything to you.

We went to this restaurant on 8-7-08 with a large group of 13. We arrived at 6:25ish and put or name on the list and waited 1:15 minutes,, got seated,, placed the orders. the childrens food came out within a 1/2 hour. At 9:00 PM the greeter/seater/manager came to us to ask how our meal was. We have not gotten it yet and had not seen our waitress in 25 minutes. the one family left with no food for the adults, yet when the greeter was told not to bring the food which was another 15 minutes away, just bring our bill, she brought food and no bill. now we are still hungry and do we have an obligation to go ahead with the food or leave. She took the food made to go boxes and we still had to pay full price or not get the food and that they would have thrown out. the food is good do not get me wrong, we have been there before with 4 people. we were not being difficult, in fact we were not watching time to closely as we were with friends and having good company. BUT after 2 1/2 hours even good company can have patience issues.
