Gem Stores Inc

Dear potential comsumer,

I have been shopping at this store for about 4 years. I never had a problem until I paid with a hundred dollar bill. The cashier took the bill and then she scratched the bill,and looked at it through the light, then scratched the bill looked at it through the light at least three more times, never once did she get the famous pen that everyone has. You know the one that changes color if the bill is a fake. OHHHHHH no she just kept scrathing the bill. Then she went over the loudspeaker and said someting in another language. Of course there were other customers around. It was embarrasing. I have no idea what she said i speak english only. I didn't know if she said i have a fake bill, or manager come to the front. A man finally came to the register and he looked at the bill for about 2 seconds and said ok. Yes it's good. The I said excuse me sir " Do you have a pen?" No I don't? Why not I asked? Because I don't. I asked him when does she decide to call him? Is it for every customer with a hundred dollar bill? He said no not every customer. I asked ohh just those who look like me? No he said. So how does she decide this? It is up to her he said. I asked for the owner/ manager. Then the real joke on me began. He started speaking in another language I can only guess and this comes from the body language of those around that i was being insulted. I told the man who was saying all this stuff Please insult me in english that way i can understand you. He kept telling me to give him back his pen which i had borrowed by this time to write down what was happening.he asked over and over again. I said no and proceeded to write down the information of what was happening. There more said and more insults spewed my way. I left the store with the worst feeling i have had in 10 years. It is nothing worse than being falsly accused. And made to feel low. I would not suggest my worst enemy to shop at this store. Period........
