Bed-Stuy Fish Fry

4 HOURS FOR DELIVERY FOR FRIED SHRIMP CHICKEN AND FISH AND I LIVE 10 MINUTES AWAY I placed the order at about 5:30pm for a little over $50 worth of food for my two kids and i. a little pricey but their food is supposed to be good. My grub hub account said i would receive my order 7:00-7:10 but i got a confirmation email at 5:49pm that our order would arrive between 7:25 and 7:35 about two hours later but i was ok with that because i read other reviews that their delivery time was about that. at 7:56pm no food and hungry children. I called the restaurant at that time and brought it to their attn. i was calm and polite assuming something had happened but still willing to work with them. i was placed on hold for a little under 10 minutes until someone picked up the phone and HUNG IT UP. i called back and young lady answered the phone "bedstuy fish fry please hold" i tried to explain to the girl that i was holding and hung up on but she ignored me and still placed me on hold. i held for about 5 minutes and hung up to call back again I never got anyone. i called about 7 times only to receive the message that they were not accepting phone calls. it is now a little after 8:15pm. i called grub hub at about 8:20pm to cancel the order, after explaining what happened and her looking up my order, I was told by their rep that they were going to contact the restaurant to find out what happened after holding for a while, the rep got back to me at about 8:35pm to tell me the restaurant said my order was on the road and would be here in TWENTY MINUTES!!! DELIVERY GUY SHOWED UP AT 9:25 AS I WAS WRITING MY REVIEW HE WAS NICE. TOLD ME OT CALL BACKTO SPEAK OT THE MANAGER. I CALLED AT 9:38, SPOKE TO DANISHA AND WAS TOLD THE MANAGER TONY WAS GONE FOR THE DAY EVEN THOUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT WAS STILL OPEN FOR ANOTHER HALF HOUR. I WILL CALL BACK TOMORROW
