Unprofessional... My teenage daughter is going high school in Harlem and couldnt be late.. I call American every other day for work or my daughter never had problem. Until today car 150 n his rude manners pulled up let her get in car as I went to pay hes like she a kid right shes a teenager who needs be school at 7:30am n its 7:05 lets go. Had call back n operator was rude to. Got sent anothet cab who had no problem doing his job. My daughter is late n gets detention in school because of his ignorance n operator tells me your daughter will be fine ummmm no shes in Charter school the ratchet kids are still in bed sleep sge didnt deserve to be punished for his actions

Worst cab base ever...I'm a new yorker...countless times I've given them chance after chance to fix themselves...I take a cab every day to work and they can never send me a cab on time.... I always have to call back and they say they will send me another cab or I have to walk to the building next to mine because they get the address wrong.... I don't get it... Their cabs have made me sit in the front because they don't have their certified Taxi documentation...How can this be number 1 base? Today was the last straw 20 mins waiting for my cab..I recommend this base to no1!

I never write reviews but I made it my duty to do so this time. And I will write one on every social network every online site that will hear me out. I use to love American. Have been using them for 10+ years. This past year has been a nightmare. Dispatchers are rude. Drivers are horribly late. Not 5 min late. I mean 20 plus minutes late. No support whatsoever! Call for a manager ha! Good luck! I stopped calling for 3 months just to prove a point. Started calling again this week. Worse mistake ever! I kid you not in calling them in one month every single morning for a $15 cab fare they were late more than 20 days ! I am so extremely disgusted with thus cab base. Such poor service. They do not deserve to call themselves a service. They are a disgrace! Just know American I will do whatever it takes you ruin the name you have done crap to maintain!

Worst cab service I've ever had. Driver was late, no GPS, & even though the website says CC is accepted - wrong.cab was dirty and reeked of cheap air freshener.

I asked one cab driver if he could go one route, i nomally take a cab everyday... but he told me that he was the cab driver and that I was suppose to tell him the address and that's it... Nothing more.... Than the dispatcher told me I had 3 minutes to be downstairs but I took 5 minutes hoping that he would be there... But he was not there-so I figure it's my fault... I actually called back but before I could ask for another cab the dispatcher tells me he's downstairs but he was not there... She hangs.up on me then 2 minutes later the cab come... I ask him to take my normal route which he did.... But he started to talk to another cab driver and wound up missing a turn, turning into the next block which there was traffic...I miss my meeting and was late for work.... They get two stars for two mistakes.. Two many

I called and made reservation to be picked up, going to JFK airport, car was on time, Driver was courteous, and realiable car to get me there, I will use American again, thank you American.
