Hearing Planet changed my life. I didn't want to admit I had a hearing problem, but I got to a point where I knew I was missing out on hearing. Everyone was so nice, the test was easy and their payment plan made it possible for me to get my hearing aids. I am so grateful now! They are so comfortable I forget I even have them on and I love being able to adjust the volume.

I was hesitant at first to even consider hearing aides but have had nerve deafness since I was a child. After losing out on conversations in crowded venues, having people think I was rude for not answering them because I didn't hear them and having to blast the television, and still use the Closed Captioning, my wife made an appointment for me to see an audiologist. We discussed the extent of my hearing loss and how to move forward. My wife is a frugal shopper and decided to see if she could find the recommended hearing aides at a more comfortable price for our budget. She found HearingPlanet, online, and I/we couldn't be happier. I must admit it was like learning to hear all over again. Sounds that I had not heard in ages were coming through these devices in my ears clearly now. It was amazing to be able to have a conversation with someone and ask them not to yell, "I can hear you now".

Hearing Planet is an outstanding source of products, services and information for those with impaired hearing. I visited a number of similar sites and decided to go with Hearing
Planet. I found the site to be easy to navigate and selected a couple of brands that appeared to meet my needs. I had a number of follow up conversations with a very professional hearing consultant that helped me understand the products better and I ultimately decided to make a purchase that I felt very good about. 60 days later I am satisfied with my purchase and I am enjoying life at a whole new level! After reading many of the reviews I felt morally required to post my comments.

I have been providing hearing evaluations and fitting recommendations

for cumsumers sent to my professional office in the Akron, Ohio and surrounding counties.

I treat each client with extreme care and professional standards.

I have also found that Hearing Planet has been highly praised by all the clients sent to my practice.

Most complaints seem to be concerning interactions with personal

Hearing Planet Lacks Customer Focus

Hearing Planet consultants do not want to help a customer evaluate their options. If you are not calling to schedule an appointment, they will not return your calls.



My mother needed hearing aids last year. We looked into Hearing Planet, but wound up going to another provider. My mother really liked the hearing center and audiologist we went to, but at a half the cost, we chose to go to elsewhere.



Now, mom has had sudden, significant hearing loss and requires new aids. I have been doing extensive research with various outfits, including Hearing Planet. I called their consultant twice for cost information (total of 5 minutes for each call), and when I called with another question, she cut me off and bluntly asked if I was going to make an appointment. I was wasting her time, just like we wasted the company's time last year (funny, I thought they were reimbursed for that evaluation).



I just find it amazing that in this economy, that this poor level of customer service even exists. How can any company expect an elderly woman, on a fixed income, spend $5600 without evaluating her options? And the real shame is, my mom wanted to go back to their associated audiologist. I will personally pay whatever cost differential and provide any transportation my mom needs to get the service she deserves. I



f this is the level of service I am getting BEFORE placing an order, when a customer is usually promised the world, what can I expect after signing on the dotted line?

HearingPlanet began working with this customer's mother 1 year ago and arranged a hearing test and consultation with a local provider. They elected to purchase their hearing aids elsewhere. She has recently come back asking for additional support since her Mother's hearing has become worse and the hearing aids purchased a year ago are no longer helpful. I have personally become involved in helping Gayle and her mother as she completes medical evaluations to determine why the her mom's hearing worsened. Gayle has expressed the desire to work with HearingPlanet and our local professional as of the week of May 17, 2010 towards obtaining a new set of hearing aids. maybe ok

They use local offices and products are probably good although seems a bit overpriced. Especially when they decided to reduce their price when we decided not to use their service. I got the feeling that I was being pressured into using them. Don't like having to pay in full prior to receiving any product, written contracts etc. If their warrenty is as stated, that would be a good deal.

Does not have an office in Huntsville. A blatant attempt to lure old people to their website sales team where they may never get the service they really need!

They Suck!!!!

Yeah they sold me a hearing aid at about $500 less than advetised, but then hooked me up with a fitter that wasted my time for the next 3 weeks trying to program the aid. I had to finally return the aid but hearing planet kept $200 saying it was fitting fee and that the aid was not the right aid for me. I then went to Hearing Aids and audio centers of texas in Houston to see Wayne Fenton...He programmed the exact aid perfectly, he did charge more, but the Savia Art now works perfectly. Dont Waste your time with HearingPlanet...THEY SUCK BIG TIME and will waste your time and take your money. Star Rating Minus -5 stars. YUCK!!!
