        Applied Behavior Consultants (ABC) is an independent, locally owned and operated behavioral health company in Boulder, Colorado. We specialize in using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to develop customized treatment plans to meet the needs of each individual and their family. We provide ABA services to individuals ages 2 through adulthood with developmental disabilities, including autism. Services are provided in the home, residential or day program, school and in the community. At ABC, it is our goal to enrich the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities by reducing undesirable behaviors that impact learning, social opportunities, and independence, while increasing appropriate behaviors that lead to effective communication, functional activities, social-emotional relationships, and independent living skills.
        Services/Products
        1:1 Services Home-based: The BCBA or Behavior Specialist provides direct ABA services in the home. Home-based services will teach you how to manage behaviors, teach skills and create a therapeutic environment in your home using what you already have available Community-based: The BCBA or Behavior Specialist provides ABA services in the community. Community-based services will teach you how to easily and safely manage behaviors at your choice of locations Vocational: The BCBA or Behavior Specialist will provide ABA services at the individual’s place of employment or practice the skills needed to maintain a job. Vocational services will teach functional job skills and independence at work. Group Services Social Skills Groups: Social Skills Groups will take place in a variety of community settings and will be facilitated by a BCBA and Behavior Specialist. Consultation Program Development: The BCBA will consult with day programs, school districts and early learning centers to:Define objective and measurable goalIdentify appropriate functional skillsCreate individualized behavior plans, curriculum and IEP goalsDevelop measurement systems and data sheetsProgram Oversight: The BCBA will provide oversight to programs developed by ABC and other behavior service companies and make recommendations to: Apply best practice and ethical standardsUse procedures that are most effective and least intrusiveMaximize learning opportunityIncrease rate of skill acquisition SupervisionBCBA candidate and on-going BCaBA supervision available 1:1, group or via video conferencing technologyComprehensive curriculum developed from seminal articles and recent research in ABA
