During a dinner on the outside patio the misters were turned off resulting in a substantial amount of water dripping on members of our business party. When we asked the manager, Craig, to address the issue he returned to our table with sarcastic commentary about the ability of our party to move out of the way of the water droplets. Our party was initially cordial, and jokingly replied to his sarcastic comments. However, Craig began to insult the members of our party, and took a very aggressive attitude. When we spoke up about his unprofessionalism he responded with profanity, and told us he didn't care if we didn't come back to the restaurant. Thereafter, as we got up to leave, Craig positioned himself in front of one of our party as if to invite physical confrontation. Needless to say, we were extremely shocked by Craig's actions, and will not be returning to this establishment, nor would we ever recommend it to others.

I seriously do not know how to describe this place. Spanish conquistador means cirque du soleil meets french chef. It's good in all the ways America can make a restaurant good. The atmosphere is beautiful and exciting and, well, random. The women's bathroom is mirror tiled and bright pink with exquisite shoes on this display behind glass. The men's room flaunts illuminated cows sculls and a constant showing of the Victoria Secret runway show. (At least that is what my husband rushed back to tell me.)
The food is not cheep, but it comes to you with such flare and style, it makes sense. I kept it simple with a steak sandwich ($18) and it was decadent. My husband ordered the corn and crab chowder, and I ended up having to order a second one since I ate most of his. My salad was "peppered" with black pepper from a red, 4 foot long pepper grinder.
We chose to eat on the patio, away from the party inside. It's a lovely prospect of a small pond and the fire pits at the tables lends to a bit of romantic. We ended the evening with a passionfruit creme brulee. Pretty perfect.
Great place for a birthday or anniversary, or to really impress a first date. Expect to pay at least $100 for a couple.
