Marshall Medical Centers South is a 150-bed acute care community located in Boaz, Alabama. Since 1956, Marshall South has maintained a proud health care tradition in a setting that is comfortable and close to home. Marshall South offers a variety of services including laparoscopic surgery, family-centered maternal and child health services, general and vascular surgery, orthopedics, general medicine and intensive care services, and advanced diagnostic services. An extensive array of outpatient services are provided including same-day surgery, Diagnostic and Lab services, Radiation and Medical Cancer Care Services, Physical Therapy, and a fitness and rehab center. Each year more than 40,000 emergency patients are treated in our Level II Emergency Department. Our health care team is led by a medical staff of 81 highly trained physicians, who represent more than 20 specialties in the field of medicine and are supported by 700+ employees. Marshall South is voluntarily accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
