The owner while a very nice man makes lofty promises with no plans on keeping them. Joe made a cash deal with me to install a central air system in my house last year. It was extremely difficult to get the company to complete the promised work without many arguments, shoddy work, and paying extra money for electrical work that was supposed to be included. The most recent updates are the phone call from the town that the permits were never closed out on and inspected like he was supposed to do. He had also promised me 2 years of spring service with a filter change that now he wants to charge me for.

My advice is to find a different company.

Andrew, I do apologize for your frustration yet they are not warranted. It was clearly stated in writing that the electrical and permit fees were not included in the final cost as to which you claimed was besides the point. What you did forget to mention as you went from website to website trying to smear us is that I picked up the tab for half of the electrical work so the electrician could ultimately get paid which satisfied you. I know that if I had something in writing from a contractor that stated it was an included service I certainly would not have paid any part of it. The one mistake I made was not putting in writing about sheetrock work that needed to be done after the basement ducts were installed although we had a verbal communication that it would be extra which you assured me was not a problem being that you were doing construction work in that area of the basement, so I paid the contractor to patch up the wall and build a soffit for you with no argument. It was also clearly stated in writing that permit fees are not included in the final cost which you now expect me to pay for. Lastly no where in the agreement does it state that you would receive 2 free years of maintenance and service on your high performance air filter, when we came to do the spring pm this year you allowed the technician to perform the entire maintenance and replace the filter and then told him you weren't paying him although the office informed you when they scheduled the call of what the charges would be. This constitutes theft of services. I feel that we have gone above and beyond for you by not seeking legal action for money owed and yet you continue to try to take advantage of our services. I'm sure you would not like it if one of your customers did that to you in your business! I will be the first to admit when we make a mistake and we try to always do right by our customers (as the numerous online reviews show), after all we are only human and mistakes happen from time to time but I will not allow anyone to take advantage of us because they feel that they can squeeze us for a little more.
