Sixteenth Street Baptist Church

In many respects it was hard to imagine the heart of the black community meeting here for worship, instruction, prayer, and praise when four precious girls were murdered. Years later, one is able to stand on this corner and relive those days through the eyes of the participants by simply viewing this building and the iconic sign that has been seen around the world.

It is great to see so many victories that have been gained and to realize that the inspiration that motivated many of the participants was a faith deeply rooted in the Word!
