Dr. Clara Chung has called Birmingham her home since 1989. A native of Kansas, she holds degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (BS), the University of Kansas School of Medicine (MD), and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (MPH—Maternal and Child Health). She completed her medical Internship in Pediatrics at Emory University and both a Residency in Pediatrics and a 3-year Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at UAB. Her training certifies her to treat allergies and asthma in both adults and children. Dr. Chung met Dr. Smith during their fellowship training together at UAB and The Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
