Overall
Part Store, or is it?

I usually take the time to look up my own parts online to help whoever answers the phone out a little bit. It'd be handier I guess if it didnt take 25 rings for them to answer the phone. Does that part of their job take a rocket scientist?? when I tell them that I have a part number and want to know if they have it in stock right before I leave the house and they put me on hold knowing that my question would take 2sec. to answer. then when I confirm the price they respond 'Bout 50 bucks, bout 35 bucks, bout 80 bucks. HOW PROFESSIONAL. and when the phone gets answered in a language that i dont speak. click.

Overall
Poor service

I called to see if they had a battery for my vehicle. The guy that answered the phone couldn't even speak english. He told me that I would have to bring the battry in to see if they can match it up. I asked if he could just look it up on the computer and see if they had it to save me a trip. He replied by saying that he was not going to and hung up. Hey Auto Zone, why don't you get some one that is not a gangster moron to work in your places! I will never go there again!

Overall
electric fuel pump

Aproximately 2 years ago , I purchased a fuel pump for my `98 Chevy 2500 from Auto Zone . In less than a year it failed and I had to replace it again . Auto Zone gave me another pump as that one was under warranty . Now here I am some 14 months and THAT pump went bad too . The truck is not my primary vehicle and 2 Auto Zone fuel pumps haven`t even made it 5,000 miles . That is less than 2,500 miles each . These pumps cost aproxitmately $250. I should have bought one from a dealer and been done with it .

Auto Zone do you know how much effort is involved in replacing your worthless pumps ? The first one I put in , I dropped the tank ,no fun , had to siphon gas out and still wrestle with large , bulky , heavy tank . The second one I chose to take the bed off , which is no easy task , but prefered to droping the tank . So now I have a pump that went bad about a month ago , I have already replaced it twice , and it is not installer error , the truck will actually idle and run low rpms but it is starving for gas and the pump is so loud you can hear it " a mile away " , definetly a bad Auto Zone pump . And I STILL have to do it all again . I still have to replace that worthless Auto Zone fuel pump , take the bed off etc. etc.

Auto Zone you should reimberse me for that useless pump . Your no-good pumps have cost me labor 3 times what should have been . 3 times ! 3 times ! Not to mention the initial cost of the fuel pump which , I`m sure is no longer in warranty . You should reimberse me the cost of the no-good pump or purchase another for me . THREE TIMES !!!

All information concerning this pump is in your computer along with mt name and phone number . Will Auto Zone do the right thing ? 2489
