The rating is ZERO but yp wouldn't let me post unless I gave them at least 1 star

I came into office with what I thought was and could still be a sty in my eye. I had a short wait in waiting room then got back to room and the older gentleman dr acted like he had no clue what was going on like he'd never seen a sty before. 20 min later he said "Hang on", 30 min later he said "ok did they draw your blood?" No they did not. So he told me ok let me go get someone. Another 20-25 minutes and I'm still sitting here alone in room while they talk about their lunch they've eaten. I got off my construction job at 9am I haven't eaten it's now after 12 and I haven't had tests, seen dr, or anyone. I'm pissed.

It's 12:15 and they just drew 3 vials of blood and the lab tech said dr was on phone with another dr at a different location he might try to refer me to. Dang all I need is an antibiotic possibly in the form of a shot and maybe a few pills to take

WOW, I thought American Family Care in Eastwood was bad until I read these reviews. Why don't we just stop going to the Quack in the Box places. I know that I have.

Overall
awful

The actual visit wasn't the worst. was in and out rather quickly. But when I went to get my prescription 20 minutes later at my pharmacy, they still had not received the prescription. I called AFC and it was confirmed they had not sent it over to my pharmacy and I was assured he would send it in immediately. I went back to my pharmacy an hour later and they still had not received anything. I called AFC once again and was informed they still had not sent it to my pharmacy buy would do it this time for real. When I went back a THIRD time to get my prescription, the pharmacy only received one of the two prescriptions 8 was told I would be getting. Of course the one that was missing is the one I needed most. I will never, ever use this location again and would recommend to make sure your prescriptions are handled if you choose to trust this AFC despite the negative reviews.

Terrible. Went in for chest pain and their EKG machine was broken, and the "doctor" on had no concerns whatsoever. will not go back.

Horrible!

I have a 2 year old son that has asthma. I took him last night because he was coughing non-stop. We were there over 3 hours. They wouldn't test him for strep or flu bec his fever was low. They wanted to test him for pneumonia by drawing blood. After numerous tries and hurting my son, the nurse gave up. She was plainly too scared to try from the start. We wanted 30 more minutes for the doctor. When she finally came in she said: we can't diagnose him, or give him any medicine, you can go to Children's. We had to pay $35 to wait 3 hours and hurt my son for no reason! Sorry excuse for doctors. They didn't even apologize. They didn't care!

I would NEVER recommend this p...

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone who values quality medical care, from concerned, compassionate and competent professionals. I visited one afternoon for a couple of issues, and I ended up leaving the facility with a prescription for anti-anxiety medicine, good for a month. Over a couple of days, I was advised to raise my dose. The medicine had some unsavory side effects at first, but they subsided and eventually it worked fine.

The problem I have with this clinic is that when I eventually ran out of the medicine, I was out of town and called the office to ask for a refill. I was told by the receptionist that they never do refills over the phone, all refiills require another visit. I understand in the case of antibiotics, that they would like to re-evaluate the situation, and even in my case, the doctor may like to re-evaluate me. BUT, I was out of town and would not be back for 5 days. Anyone who has ever taken this type of medication understands that you do NOT just quit taking the meds, without risk of serious consequences.

I asked for a nurse to call me back, thinking she might understand the situation a bit better and at least agree to phone in enough of the medicine to last until I return home. But still, I received the same unbudging, cold and completely callous reply, coupled with a few excuses (for which I offered logical and easy solutions), that "sorry, we can't do that. You'll have to come in for another visit (i.e. $$copay!!)"

I told her she might as well rip my chart up, because I will NEVER give another cent to that place. I ended up having to leave my business trip early and return home to see a REAL doctor, because I couldn't deal with the effects of not having the medication I *needed*. And if anyone is curious, the medicine was *not* any kind of controlled substance, so there simply is NO good reason they could not have phoned in a whole or partial refill.

Don't go. Never again. I just spent 3 hours in this place to get one test done and an antibiotic. They got me right back and I sat in the room for about 20-30 min for the doc. He ordered a test....waited another 20-30 for the person to draw blood. The test takes 20-30 min. I patiently waited since I knew they were a bit busy...God only knows how long. My friend called and informed me that I got off the phone with her over 2 hours ago when I walked in there. A nurse finally found me in there and couldn't believe I was still there, he went to get the doc. Waited another 10 or so min. The doc apologized profusely for the wait. Told me the test was negative and he would give me a scrip and a shot. I said I didn't want the shot. (I knew it would take forever and figured he could write the scrip and hand it to me and I could be on my way.) So he walks out...I sit ANOTHER 20 min. WHY? I think maybe he's getting me a sample and letting me go and I am on the fast track to gettin gout of there since they made me wait so long, etc. Then I hear him go in another room with a patient and come out and think I am next, then I listen to a rather lengthy jovial conversation about football btw. him and the nurses. I finally come out into the hall and ask why I am there and he says. If you have your shot and scrips you can go. I said I didn't the want the shot..."I am so sorry." again(!) He walks my scrips to the pharmacy. Comes back while I am still standing there and sits back down. A nurse comes to me with the needle stuff and asks what I want to do. "Go home." She looks all perturbed and tells me she was coming to give me my shot. THAT IS WHY I DIDN'T WANT THE SHOT. I say just want to get the scrips and go home. SO she says I can go. Why didn't the doc tell me that?!

I was there for 3 hours.

Previous review isn't an usual experience

I've been there tons of times and never had a problem. Dr. Bentley is a fantastic doctor that can always find out what is wrong with you even with the weirdest symptoms. I know for a fact people drive hours just to see her, so it must have been a very busy day.

This clinic is run by Dr. Amy ...

This clinic is run by Dr. Amy Bentley. She is the worst doctor I have ever seen.

I waited ONE hour and TWENTY minutes for what I was would take 20 mnutes,.

I finally walked out in the hall to see the horror on the nurse's face. From her look, I

knew that I had been forgotten. I was assured that I would get the results ASAP. Once Dr., Bentley came into the room, I asked was there a problem? She lambasted me stating that I wasnt her only patient. Others were there with appointments. Why did they tell me 20 minutes? The worst of it was, when she

gave me my diagnosis, she stated that she wouldnt explain what it was because it appeared that I was in a hurry. Can you believe this? I had been there 2 hours This women is a lunatic and My advice to anyone is to reconsider if you are going to this clinic. It really deserves a zero, but the web site would not let me complete this form unless I gave one. Dr. Bentley had the worst attitude, demeanor, and just downright nasty. Perhaps these are the very reasons she is unable to establish her own practice. Would you like to see her in a hospital? Yikes! Run as fast as you can

from this doctor and clinic.
