The goal with thigh reduction is to tighten the skin and remove any excess tissue. Some patients may need a small horizontal and vertical excision high in the upper thigh area, while others require longer incisions that sometimes go past the knees. Dr. Soueid attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He received his Medical Degree from Ross University School Of Medicine. Dr. Soueid completed his General Surgery Residency training at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Reconstructive Surgery
When reconstructive surgery is performed immediately following mastectomy, a breast mound is created in place of the breast that has been removed. This is done in the hospital under general anesthesia.

Liposuction
Abdominal etching is a technique using differential liposculpture where detailed body fat is removed enhancing the shapely figure of the underlying muscles of the abdomen. These muscles are typically unseen or smothered under 1 to 2 inches of fat. The goal with this procedure is to create the so-called “six-pack” abdomen. Candidates for abdominal etching are highly disciplined males who work out daily and maintain a low fat diet. To achieve the washboard abdomen, deep, intermediate, and superficial liposuction are used. The procedure has been performed in females, but leaves a somewhat unnatural look.

Breast Reduction
Large breasts can cause pain, improper posture, rashes, breathing problems, skeletal deformities, and low self-esteem.Breast reduction plastic surgery is usually done to provide relief from these symptoms. Performed under general anesthesia, the two- to four-hour procedure removes fat and glandular tissue and tightens skin to produce smaller, lighter breasts that are in a healthier proportion to the rest of the body.
Breast Lift
The vertical breast lift technique is ideally suited for saggy breasts that are wide and have a nipple that requires greater than 6 centimeters of lift. The vertical incision is made along with a periareolar incision. The breast gland can be reshaped and lifted through these incisions with or without the use of breast implants. With a vertical breast lift, the nipple can be lifted 6 to 10 centimeters. The wide breast skin is removed and the breast is molded into a more beautiful shape. Skin closure is made without creating a lot of tension. When there is little skin tension, there is usually great healing and, in most cases, the incisions begin to fade soon after surgery. The vertical incision technique can be used in patients who previously would have required a wise pattern breast lift or lollipop incision and is considered to be a state-of-the-art, minimally incision alternative than more extensive plastic surgery procedures.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction usually involves more than one operation, and follow up procedures may be performed on an outpatient basis. Follow-up procedures may only require local anesthesia, and often involve a skin expander with a breast implant, and reconstruction of the nipple and areola. Sometimes surgery is the performed on the natural breast to match the reconstructed breast; however, this creates additional scars.

Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty, or a “tummy tuck,” is designed to correct a protruding abdomen resulting from weak abdominal muscles, weight gain or pregnancy. Obesity causes the skin to lose its elasticity. These conditions may not respond well to diet or exercise if the skin and underlying muscles have been stretched.
Body Lift
The body lift procedure is designed to treat excess fat and saggy skin of the torso, hip and thigh regions. Classically, these patients have a pear-shaped body and accumulate fat and excess skin in the mid to lower abdominal area, flanks, back, hips and outer thighs. Frequently, severe sagginess is identified in the hips and outer thigh area, which is effectively lifted and repositioned into a more aesthetic and youthful position with this procedure. Any sagginess that occurs in the pubic region and genitalia is also treated at the time of body lift. Several weeks before surgery, all patients receive an extensive medical and metabolic analysis. The day before surgery, patients are asked to come into the office for markings. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to completely mark and prepare a patient for the next day's surgery. Once marked, the special ink used will not come off and patients can take a shower with Hibiclens® to reduce the chances of infection. These markings are reinforced with the same ink pen the morning of surgery.
