I know that some reviewers have spoken about time or a long wait but I've never had that. Because of my insurance I have to drive almost an hour to get to her but it's worth it. I know there have been complaints about staff but when I see her she's the only one there, answers the door, takes payment, sees the patient, and schedules your next appointment. And she's always been on time. I understand that with other patients she can not be on time and that's not her fault, she spends time with her patients. A good doctor should. I would much rather wait because my questions will be answered than shuffled out the door like cattle. And she's attentive and understanding so in the end I have no complaints.

She is very hard working, conscientious and showed much interest in care of her patients.

Staff is friendly and attentive and the The Doctor is as kind as can be.

She took extra time to ensure that she provided the best health care for me. Through her education, training and experience you can definitely tell she is the best doctor around. I started seeing Dr. Alexander in 2006 after years with another insurance company that did some questionable things. I really like seeing her and have refered her to other female friends past the OB stage.

For the first time in a long time I felt like I had a doctor who cared. It was very refreshing.

Dr. Alexander is by far the best doctor around when it comes to being a Obstetrician & Gynecologist. She has made me feel very comfortable talking about the cancer i have and answers my questions. She assures me and makes sure that my prescriptions are filled and visited me at the hospital. She has great bed side manner. She is part of my support group and i can't thank her enough for being there when others weren't.
She is very dedicated to her job and patients and should not be underestimated just because she is a female doctor. She has a great education which means she is knowledgeable and knows what she is talking about. She is confident to get you better and she is just terrific.
I would want to go anywhere else. We need more doctors like her in the world. the office is very cozy and the customer service is awesome. five stars for Dr. Margaret Alexander.

I started going to Dr. Alexander when she had an office at Providence Hospital. I'm 64 years old, have never been pregnant and do not need an OB/GYN. Dr. Alexander is one of the very, very few female practitioners of gynaecologic oncology in the DMV area and, as such I'm not surprised by the wait time for obtaining an appointment or the time spent in her office. What I am not surprised about is the caring, compassionate and, most importantly, the quality of care received from Dr. Alexander.

I'm once again a patient of Dr. Alexander and don't care about the wait on the phone or in the office. What I do care about and what is most important to me is receiving quality health care! And that is what I receive from Dr. Alexander.

So, if you're in a hurry, by all means find another doctor. If you value your life and believe in women's wellness, Dr. Margaret Nadia Alexander is the right doctor for you.

Well I have been Dr Alexander’s patient for about 12 years.. and within those 12 years I have had many health problems. But I am officially cancer free and I have Dr Alexander to thank. Without her taking her time and answering all my questions and concerns. She really is that doctor who you want everyone to meet and say that’s my doctor she saved me. I absolutely don’t know where I would be without her. She is professional, inspirational , motivational , and so so so dedicated to her work and patients. While I did have a long wait (the doctor had an emergency at the hospital and was late getting in that day), I felt like the office did a good job making the best use of the time that they could. They had me filling out paperwork and paying my copay before I saw the doctor to get me in and out as fast as they could. I hope future visits don't have as big a wait, but she had a good reason for running behind that day.

Dr. Alexander brings a rare blend of competence, caring, and clear communication. She is among the finest doctors I've ever visited for anything. Leaving her practice was my biggest regret of joining a local HMO. I sympathize with those concerned with delays, but where health or even life hangs in the balance, a great doctor is worth the wait! And think about it: Wouldn't you prefer a physician who takes the time that's needed with each patient? Those extra minutes could a save a life, any of ours.

Dr. Margaret Alexander is such an exceptional and caring professional. When diagnosed with uterine cancer, I needed to know that my physician genuinely cared about providing me with the best care, possible. After visiting several doctors, I found that in Dr. Alexander. I trusted and trust my health and life in her hands! Need I say more...
