Bellaire Dermatology

I've been a client for several years. Dr. Mullinax did the most complete skin screening I have ever had...fortunately for me there were only 2 spots to be removed. Dr. Mullinax is no longer with the practice, however Dr. Chilukuri does a very fine job at more complex procedures such as Mohl procedures. I also see an aesthetician every 6 weeks for a facial. She does a great job and very gentle to my skin. I trust my dermatologic needs to this practice... Sonia, Drs. Chilukuri, Teller and Maender.

I referred my mother to Dr. Chilukuri. He was extremely respectful of her time and and her budget. He answered all of her questions without rushing and never pressured her to purchase unecessary treatments. We only waited less than 5 mins to be called into the patient room. BDA has a lot to offer and if one doctor doesnt work you always have 7 other to choose from. I would recommend Dr. Chilukuri to anyone that is looking for a skin cancer surgeon or a cosmetic dermatologist. It's nice to know that physicians like him still do exist!

i have been going to bellaire dermatology associates for about 3 years now. each time i go into the office i have a great experience. all of the doctors are wonderful, i have seen whoever can get me in when i have a problem. the staff is great too. Thank you for the great care you take of me and i will continue to be a patient!

My experience at Bellaire Dermatology began the moment I called for an appointment. I spoke to Karen and even though she did not have anything available for me right away she said she would work me in. Sure enough the next day I received a call and she made appointment for me the same week. I was very relieved because my eczema was flaring up really badly. I was seen by Dr. Meander and she was great. She gave me treatment that would not compromise me nursing my daughter and am so grateful for that. On top of that she was very considerate that I did not have health insurance and did not give me things that I did not need. Kristina was kind enough to give some extra information about my condition and suggested some over the counter creams to help me out and that would not cause me to pay high dollars. I'm very grateful for them and know that it is to place to be to get proper treatment.

My experience at Bellaire Dermatology Associates was a pleasant surprise! In my past experiences, going to the doctor was always a chore. I always expect to wait for hours & the staff always seem to feel the same way, that their job is somewhat of a chore, but when I came to this office it was so different! I was greeted with a smile as I checked in. After only waiting a short time, I was called back by a nurse who also greeted me with a smile & even asked how my day was going. The medical staff seemed genuinely interested in my concerns & was very thorough when asking me what brought me in to see the doctor. I was impressed with the communication that was provided to the physician even before she entered the room. The visit was thorough & the bedside manner was great! They took the time to educate me about my medical condition & even took the time to explain to me how to use my regimen of medications & what to expect regarding results & even how to avoid common side effects that can occur with improper use (which was never explained to me at my previous Derm's office). I have been a patient at Bellaire Derm for a couple of years now & I think it's great that when my usual doctor's schedule might be full for a couple weeks & I have something I'm quite concerned about that the staff will work me in to see an associate quickly, sometimes even that same day! I have seen 3 of the physicians in their practice & have yet to be disappointed. I would recommend Bellaire Dermatology to anyone who would like to finally experience a doctors office who not only excels at what they do, but provides care in a friendly professional manner that makes me feel like going to the doctor is no longer a chore!

I had never been to the dermatologist until 1 year ago. I ended up going here because my insurance said it was in my "network". I never look forward to going to the doctor but it has to get done. I came in at 9:15 for an appointment at 9:30 with Dr. Mullinax and was called back at 9:25. I was expecting to wait about an hour. I came in for a full skin check that your suppose to do once a year and for some products to decrease wrinkles. The Assistant asked me a few questions about my concerns and then actually recommended some products that she thought were helpful for prevention of wrinkles. Dr. Mulling was very pleasant and examined me throughly. I was given some samples at the end of the visit of the products that were recommended to me and loved them. I came back the week after and bought the TNS essential serum and the eye cream and they have worked wonders. My overall experience here was positive and not stressful like "doctors appointments" usually are. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. I have only seem Dr. Mullinax and Dr. Alberta and loved them both as well as the staff.

First off, I need to say I dislike going to the doctor more than most people. After being told I needed to see a dermatologist by my primary doctor for a suspicious growth I put it off for months. I wish I had come to BDA right away because I have never had a more enjoyable experience at a doctor's office. I schedule and keep all my appointments now and am happy to be there!!! Very professional and caring!!! AW

I've been using Bellaire Dermatology to treat my severe psoriasis for the past five years. I began seeing Dr. Teller after seeing numerous dermatologists during my 32 year fight with this illness (I am now 37). None of my previous doctors would aggressively treat my illness due to their fear of lawsuits and unwillingness to fight the insurance companies for coverage. I was prescribed creams and shampoos that required applications several times per day. At one point, I was prescribed a treatment where I had to take medication that could have caused cateracts and required the use of dark plastic safety glasses at all times during the day. As if this disease wasn't humiliating enough, the treatment made it even worse. Dr. Teller was willing to skip the creams and shampoos and prescribe injectable medication that cleared up my psoriasis within a couple of months. They were able to work with my insurance company to obtain coverage for this very expensive medication. I have seen several of the other doctors at Bellaire Dermatology during the past five years and have been treated with dignity and respect at all times. The nursing staff is great. I have noticed a lot of turnover in the office, but it has not affected my medical treatment. I would highly recommend Bellaire Dermatology to any patient suffering from psoriasis.
