During her surgical residency at OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma center in Columbus, Ohio, she trained under internationally renowned foot and ankle surgeons and served as chief resident. Her extensive training includes procedures such as ankle arthroscopy, foot and ankle open reduction internal fixation, external fixation, deformity correction, and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Law spent an additional year in fellowship focusing on complex procedures and reconstruction in the forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle surgery and trauma in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania under Dr. Mark Hofbauer. She is passionate about sports medicine, trauma, deformity correction and reconstruction, education and research.

Physical Therapy
Epidural Steroid Injections, or ESIs can help soothe joint pain in the space around arthritic joints. While not a permanent solution by itself, Injecting corticosteroids into an arthritic joint space can dramatically reduce pain and inflammation. The effects will last for a variable amount of time between 1 week to 1 year. Specialists usually employ Epidural Steroid Injections as a more conservative measure before committing to more drastic surgical options. While usually a stepping stone to surgery, depending on the patient some ESIs may reduce joint pain to the point where Physical Therapy can start to take effect, eliminating the need for further treatment and saving a patient from having to go under the knife.
