I called to inquire if they did lion cuts for cats. They said yes. I inquired of the cost (of the lion cut obviously) and they quoted me $40. I took in my 2 rag dolls. At checkout the bill was $200. They refused to make an adjustment although the person checking me out said let her “go and check... “ Of course there was NO adjustment. And the sad part is that the cuts are the shabbiest they have ever had in their 6 years! Be prepared the pay top dollar for inexperienced service.They showed me great pics of several lion styles. I was hurt and disappointed.

Absolutely love this vet clinic! All the Doctors are friendly and knowledgeable and the communication of treatments and options kept me informed. I feel this vet hospital and everyone there has your pets best care and health as the #1 priority.. I was truly bewildered after reading some of the poor reviews bashing prices etc!!?? I believe you get what you pay for and what I have experienced and what my many friends and family have experienced there is 100% value for the care and services we have received. It’s been over 8 years now and Dr Lee is a phenomenal care giver to my dog.

When my 4 month old puppy had parvovirus, they treated him well, even after a secondary infection, sepsis, DIC, and anemia. He came home a few days later and is now recovering brilliantly thanks to Dr. Crawford and the emergency staff.

My dog Kipper had been brought in on Christmas Eve because of continuous vomiting along with dehydration. He had been sick for over a week. Our family Vet was very helpful in recommend Sherwood South Animal Hospital and I must say they saved my dog's life. After a couple nights in ICU with no change, we were about to give up. On Saturday, the Veterinarian decided to do a Barium test as a last resort and the results showed there was an obstruction in his intestine. Immediately after the decision for surgery was made. Dr. Lee came in on a Saturday night yo perform surgery on my fur baby. He is doing great and I owe it all to you for saving his life. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for saving his life and for making the rest of my Christmas season the best ever!!! You all are AMAZING!!!!!!!

My wife and I have rescued Bulldogs with all the inherent medical issues they have and they receive great care at Sherwood South Animal Hospital.

The staff at Sherwood South are knowledgeable when I have questions. More than anything though, they are very friendly and caring. They know that pets are an important parts of everyone's life and they treat them with so much care.

Sherwood South is a first class veterinary hospital . Dr. Stephen Lee became my oldest dog's vet when our previous vet failed to properly diagnosis diabetes .. Which led to a 4 day ICU stay @ LSU. After this I switched her care to Dr. Lee who helped get her diabetes regulated and has kept her diabetes well regulated .. Over 6 years post diagnosis she is doing well and loves going to her vet visits with Dr, Lee. He treats my other 2 dogs as well . We drive from Lafayette to Batkn Rouge to see him and it's well worth the drive to go to SSSAH .

I highly recommend Sherwood South Animal Hospital to anyone in the area needing their services. They are fantastic with animals.

I see all the vets there and they are excellent, always busy as they spend quality time with each patient. I recommend them to everyone because they offer great care.

I have been taking my three dogs here for almost 20 years. I love them and can't say enough about the car and services they provide.

Competent staff, friendly service, can pretty much take care of any of your pets needs.

This was the absolute worse vet I have ever been to. The doctirs care more about money than the animals. After visiting here I have lost faith in vets and I am in school doing my general studies to become a vet. If you dont have at least 900$ on hand do not bring your sick animal here. They will suck you dry.

This is a very reputable place. I bring my dogs here for everything, I even buy their food here! Everyone is always patient when I have questions and I can trust them.
