Alert - You might be assaulted - I was by the owner. Plus I was charged to doing no work to the car. A diagnosis fee, for a problem that anyone with a very basic level of mechanical skill could figure out. This guy must be nuts. Certainly he is a lousy mechanic. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Always love brining my car here, always professional and very honest. I would never go any other place but this one. JD Auto is the best place to go when needing you car fixed with an honest attitude followed by good intentions. These people want to help everyone any way they can! Came in from out of town needing a lot of work done for my little car. Story short, I needed an alternator, & a battery. After my car had quit along the side of the road, after I called in asking if they could fix it as soon as possible, for I had to get back to Indiana for work.. They took me in as soon as my tow had dropped off my car, & diagnosed my problem & fixed it in as little as 3 hours... I was amazed at how incredibly nice & professional these people were. The man Jack was super friendly & understood that I was in need for a car to drive home to my family.. The women at the counter, Donna took care of my bill & made sure my car was clean as a whistle before giving me my keys back. I was very impressed & I will always recommend this fine service to everyone around me that is going to Bardstown, & my friends & family I have in Bardstown. Wish I could give more then 5 stars, but thank you again Jack & Donna!!!!

Great place to have my car worked on. Had my rims put on my new tires there. Which are perfect by the way, along with a alignment without breaking my pocket! I even had my underglow put on. A close place to home with trust worthy honest people. Highly recommend! Picture of this attached!

The only reason I have one start ratings, is because I can't leave zeroes. All sunshine and promises going in, then nothing. After no calls returned for a week and a half, I went by in person. I was told that they were closed and when I confronted JD he became FURIOUS. He ordered me out of his business at the top of his lungs - insisting that I come back at 8:00 tomorrow - so this review is still unfolding. If he apologizes and tryst to make things right, I'll report it, if it continues as is, I'll report that too.

Most strongly do NOT recommend this business. Had to take the vehicle back less than a week from initial visit. They did not look at the car for 3 days and did not call when they said they would. Customer service and professionalism doesn't seem to exist at this establishment. Finally took car elsewhere to be repaired and they were astounded by the poor quality of the initial repair. I would give negative stars in every category if possible. Visit at your own risk.
