Dr. Kirpal Singh

I gave it one star because that was the lowest possible! Dr. Singh was horrible! I waited several times for 1/2 or more in a dirty cramped office. Then when I went back she told me to change into a gown and left the door wide open. I shut the door and she walked in without even knocking while I was changing! Then she told me (while still in flimsy open back gown) to walk down their hall to urinate in a cup! I asked if this could be done after I redressed at end of appointment and she said " no as I was last patient and they needed to leave after I was done!" So after an embarrassing hike down the hall, I returned to be roughly poked and she asked me if a spot on my pelvic area hurt. I told her it did and said that was why I was here (apparently communication between staff is not important here!). She pulled out the sonogram machine and roughly tried to find it externally but couldn't so she looked with internal wand. I expected it to be bad but this was horrible. She then told me bluntly. " You have a possible cancerous cyst that needs to come out right away!" Talk about scary! So her staff insisted I take an appointment that coming Wednesday. The day came after many nights of worrying and stress and I arrived at the hospital at 8 am as directed. I had my out of town parents there and my clergy man came as well to offer prayers before the surgery. I was in the pre op room getting scrubbed down and they were explaining the incubating process and were about to push me into the op room and a nurse came and whispered something to the nurse that was helping me. Remind you I was already lubed up and about to face a breathing tube... My nurse turns to me and says "I am so sorry but your doctor forgot about your appointment." Turns out they had been trying to call her and she finally and hour later answered. She told them that she would not be able to come she forgot. That was all she said. NO sorry or I will be right down. Just I can't come. The nurse told me to call them and reschedule. Well, my husband caught wind of this and called them but not to reschedule! She got on the phone and apologized to him (yes she was in office/ not family emergency or anything) but it was too late. The damage was done and there is really no excuse for it. After this appointment I went to a very nice man named Yao-King Hsu, M.D. at union Memorial hospital and he took a look and said " you just need birth control and it will shrink!" Sure enough that was all it took!
