If needed, she will take digital X-rays of your mouth to get an accurate picture of its condition. The consultation provides you the opportunity to discuss concerns, have treatment options explained and get any questions answered. We will also take the time to explain the procedure thoroughly ahead of time, so there are no surprises on the day of treatment.

Periodontal Surgery
LANAP takes fewer appointments than traditional periodontal surgery. Due to its efficient nature, large areas can be addressed during one visit. Since the treatment requires no sutures, there is no need for a second appointment to remove them.

Dentures are a far cry from natural teeth. They provide only about 10 percent of natural chewing power, which means a restricted diet for most people. Dentures slip and can be uncomfortable, and they can move or fall out, causing embarrassment. They have to be removed at night for cleaning.

Gum Surgery
By necessity, a small amount of gum tissue is lost during traditional gum surgery and the gums will show some recession afterwards. This can expose the tooth roots and create sensitivity. With the laser procedure, there is no gum recession after treatment.
Tooth Extractions
Dr. Sanger provides gentle and minimally invasive tooth and wisdom tooth extractions. Dr. Sanger’s approach to tooth extractions is to preserve as much of the surrounding bone as possible, setting you up for possible tooth replacement in the future. To keep you comfortable during your procedure, Dr. Sanger can provide IV or conscious sedation.
Bone Grafting
If needed, a bone grafting procedure can be done to augment a patients bone so that an implant can be successfully placed. With the All-on-4 procedure, patients can get full-arch teeth replacement with no bone grafting needed!
