Dr Steve Ratty Optometrists

I've been going here for many years and love it! Lots of styles of glasses and the staff help pick out the best pair!

I've gone to dr. Rattys office for about 30 years it seems ,

I called 3 times about my glasses being ready and about the 10th after not hearing from them, I called the appointment desk and they put me through to the glasses desk where they told me the glasses were ready on the 3rd and they left a message. There was no message on my answering machine. They gave me some nonsense about their phone service which was a new system which I didn't believe. Kaiser recommended this place but they are not efficient.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Ratty. Although I waited for along time in reception because she was very unprofessional and rude. She stay on the phone for a long time enjoying a ppc (personal phone call) without even greeting me although she was aware that I was there. Then she was rude due to the fact that I was there interrupting her. The Doctor and the rest of the staff was fantastic prompt and caring. I did have to request my eye exam numbers though.

Dr was great, but the Staff was rude. I had to ask to get a copy lf my prescription. She acted horribly surprised that I would ask for such a thing. The girl who helped me with my contacts was even worse. She is the reason I wil not be ordering my glasses through them. I will take my biz elsewhere to another place that understands what customer service means.

Im from out of town and had a eye problem. I called on a Saturday they told me to come down. They Dr saw me right away. He looked at my eye told me what to do and then they didnt even charge me. Thank you for the great service.

Best selection of designer glasses/sunglasses in town! Not only to they have a fabulous showroom featuring the latest, trendiest optical attire, they are unbelievably reasonably priced!!!!! The staff is magnificent!!!! Shout out to Patty and Natalie!!! Excellent customer service!! Could not have been more pleased with my prescriptions and they even filled my prescription glasses that I had bought elsewhere! Way to go Dr. Ratty's office! First class all the way!! Thank you!!!

I arrived early for my exam - thought I'd have to wait around - but NO! A minute after I signed in, one of the receptionists handed me a pre-filled-in form. She asked me to scan it for correctness - cool! I went to sit down but they called my name.



Be advised that his lenses/frames are pricy - if your insurance will cover them, good for you - mine doesn't - the Rx is fillable by any optician.



Oh, about rude staff - nonexistent in my interactions - pleasant, helpful, cheery would be MY viewpoints - and Dr Ratty - pleasant & thorough.

This office is the most professional optometrist office that I have ever been to. Very good experience and would recommend to anyone. They have a very good selection of glasses.

I went to Dr. Ratty because I had heard so may good things about the doctor.. He was very nice and did a complete vision exam.. and any question I asked he answered .. he was great.. The reason I gave the rating I did was because the girl that helped me with my glasses was horribly rude and unproffesional. It took me a good 4 months to get the sunglasses that I ordered and I dreaded even calling her because she was always so rude .. I would like to go to Dr Ratty again but I will def see someone else to help me with my order.

I like the doctors just not the staff. When I go in there the front desk area is very rude and unpolite like if they are unhappy working there. Even when I call they are very rude its get old and is very unprofessional where I'd rather be in a place more comfortable!

I only had 2 choices with my medical insurance's optical benefit. The office is unnecessarily opulant, too many comely young women. All I wanted was some glasses. The Od that did my exam used some kind of laser or similar device and got the diagnosis instantly but still tried to make it seem like he had to actually focus on me.

Worked out fine though.
