I am the owner of Bakersfield Orthodontic Dental Group & also the head doctor at my facility and i can assure you that the comment by Mar. M is false; Because we must do X-rays on a patient & because we deal with many sharps during our dental procedures & we are limited to smaller dental rooms we do not let parents into the room until after the procedures. i assure you ALL MY STAFF are RDA'S and a doctor is present during ALL DENTAL PROCEDURES. i am sorry that you were misinformed but all my assistants have their degrees posted in their rooms .

Dr. Mendevil and his staff are best Dental group in the city hands down! This place has a positive vibe. The staff are super friendly with full of smiles and laughter. The dentist assistant are very efficient with their job and make each appointment comfortable. Also, the staff are flexible with your appointments, either you missed or was late. They will accommodate the fastest time for your convenience so you never have to wait a whole week till your next visit. I highly recommend this dental group.

Been 4 years since I have gotten my braces off and I have been seen problems with my teeth. Even after wearing my retainer all night and sometimes all day my teeth still space out. Despite having to get a muscle in my gums clipped out by order of this orthodontist, my teeth are shifting. My two front teeth don't even align anymore and shifted to the right. Awful staff. The doctor spends like 5 minutes with you. Awful wait time. If I knew this amount of money was going to be spent then I would have gone to a better orthodontist. People, please don't go here. Even if it's a little more money, save yourself the hassle. My sister also went to him and her teeth stick out of her mouth now. She has to get braces again to fix what this dentist actually messed up. He has a bad rep amongst his peers in Bakersfield. Awful awful experience.

dr. guy mendivils NEW office staff was great! likee my medical doctors office i did have to wait to be seen after i checked in sometimes but i found the best hours to come in were at the beggining off the day and after lunch ! the drs really down to earth i liked him, he always was honest with me and let me know when i wasnt doing my part ! i started phase 1 with them then went into phase 2 and honestly this guy did magic to my face i went from this ugly kid with teeth that looked like a chihuauas to this handsome young man with PERFECT teeth lol, i do bleaching there with his general dentist sometimes and my teeth are kind of sensative after but nothing sensodine didnt fix in a day :) i love this office great for families
