I am Guru John. Great like the ape, King Kong. I post reviews all over the place. I post reviews in your face. Protect America is our new addition. Their service is excellent and has me on a mission. I want everyone to know, that Protect America's response time is not slow. Their alarm system is free and know you know, thanks to me. I've had their alarm for about a week and my excitement has still not hit its peak. Customer service helped with the install and answered my questions on the very first call. I am happy as of now, but if somethings changes . . . believe that I will shout it out!

Customer Service has been horrid. As a customer of 7 years I can honestly say the only thing they do promptly is direct bill my credit card. A few years back in New England we suffered back to back storms which knocked out power for more than a week at a time, and the system hasn't worked since. When I called to cancel service they convinced me to continue with upgraded equipment. I had called years ago to cancel, but hadn't fulfilled my three year contract, and they never followed up with getting my system working. Like a unused gym membership I barely noticed the monthly charge, and always thought when I saw it, I should cancel that. Now I've brand new equipment that isn't working with the door on/off panels. Great, a month has gone by, and I'm getting bills and they are getting paid, but I still don't have a system that works.

I purchased a system, fantastic customer service and even better security system.

I would recommend staying away from protect america. Their wireless system malfunctions a lot and will result in you not using the system or having false alarms and having to may the police for showing up after a false alarm. Also they will not let you get out of the contract even after you had the sensors replaced numerous times.

STAY AWAY, I signed up for a call on their website to inquire about buying and they cursed at me! I was checking out systems and had 2 people call before protect america and ended up going with one of them, then Protect America calls and I tell them that and the guy yelled at me and then hung up

I've had this system for 2 years, and I love it. It is so easy to us. The young man on the phone got me set up with everything I needed and talked me through all the equipment I needed. I got my entire system for free! They have the lowest monitoring rate and everything works great! My family is fully protected with this company.

I always argued with my husband when he started shopping around for a security system. I never thought we would need one. I thought he just wanted one to make our house look cool or more high tech. But, after finding out that Protect America was giving away a free system AND had the lowest monitoring rate, I gave in and let him buy it. Let me tell you, I am sooo glad he bought one! About a year after getting the system, we had a break-in. I had never thought to lock my windows because we lived in the middle of town, and didnt think anyone would try to rob a house in the middle of a subdivision. The burglar tried to come in through our window, but thanks to Protect America the window sensors set off the alarm and the burglar took off without even setting a foot inside! Needless to say I dont bug my husband about wasting money on a security system. You can never guess whose house will get targeted; even if you live in the heart of town!

Be careful what you ask for. I visited the Protect America web site and completed a request for a "free quote." Someone promptly called me. So far, so good. But then she put me on hold. And the second person, after I complained about all the questions he was asking me (like whether I was calling from home or work and the date of my birth, both of which was irrelevant), hung up on me. Since then at least six other people from Protect America have called. Each time I told the person that I wasn't interested in doing business with Protect America and to put my name on their do not call list. Four of the six hung up on me. I would never do business with them, and I strongly recommend that you don't either.

We have a home in Nevada and a rental property in Texas. I just ordered two alarm systems from Protect America Security and I was very pleased with the order process. I found the company on this website, so I decided that Yellowpages.com would be the best place to write a review. I ordered the system from a sales manager named Dexter. He was very eager to help me and answered all of my questions. (God knows I had a ton) I signed a contract for each system and Dexter waived the equipment cost. We ordered the basic package for our rental property and then upgraded to the Silver package for our home in Reno. With the way the economy is going, I am surprised you can still find deals like this on the internet. Thank you Protect America! James & Nancy
