        Food Poisoning!

        We had chicken fried steak and the trout. It took a while to get seated but it seamed to be a busy place so no big deal. This could also be why the service was slow and somewhat untrained. Either way, the chicken fried steak was why my wife spent the whole night with vomiting and diarrhea. I had the trout which was fine. We notified the restaurant the next day and they seemed concerned, but we didn't hear back from them as they suggested we would. We blew the entire trip to Austin because of this. She wasn't back to normal for a good twenty four hours or more.

        FABULOUS Austin Restaurant!

        I just found Moonshine thanks to a friend and it definitely will not be my last visit. This place is awesome. The food is delicious - you MUST try the corndog shrimp appetizer. The atmosphere is comfortable, laid back Austin, but still with a sophisticated edge. Definitely a place to check out on your next trip to the Music Capital of the World!
