Has your teen been getting in trouble at school for skipping class, talking back to teachers, or refusing to do their work? Does your child struggle with making friends? I provide services for children and adolescents experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. I have over 17 years of experience working with children and teens in various environments to include public school systems, residential treatment facilities, and emergency shelters. My areas of expertise include issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, autism, sexuality, and child/adolescent behavioral problems. I work collaboratively with clients and families to create unique solutions for change. I also offer group therapy for adolescents. Kennedy Psychotherapy has a separate space for children called the "Kaleidoscope Room." It has specialized interactive games and art supplies to help your child learn skills to control anger, decrease impulsive behaviors, and improve social skills.
