Sleep Disorders
Polysomnography, also called a sleep study, is a test used to diagnose sleep disorders. Polysomnography records your brain waves, the oxygen level in your blood, heart rate and breathing, as well as eye and leg movements during the study.
Electrocardiogram
The other diagnostic tool for the evaluation of obstructive sleep apnea is Polysomnography. Polysomnography or PSG is a diagnostic test that uses the same sensors as HST but also includes EEG, EKG, EMG, and other biologic measurements in a laboratory setting with sleep technician or sleep technologist. This test is often three times more expensive than HST.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Das is Board Certified in Neurology, Sleep Medicine, and Nutrition. Dr. Das provides a holistic and comprehensive approach to the treatment of neurological problems and sleep disorders, with a special interest in Women's Health and Wellness. Dr. Das graduated from Kakatiya Medicial College in India and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan, Wayne State University. She practiced Internal Medicine/ Sleep for several years in Michigan before returning to Neurology training. Dr. Das graduated from UT Southwestern Neurology Program at Austin in July 2012. Dr. Das evaluates and takes care of patients with Headache, Memory loss, Alzheimer's Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinsons Disease, Stroke, Neuropathic pain/ weakness, Sleep disorders and Seizure disorders.

Dr. Neeraj Manchanda is trained and board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. Prior to starting his practice in Kyle and Westlake, Dr. Manchanda has run a very busy outpatient and inpatient practice in Northern Michigan. Dr. Manchanda served as a Medical Director of one of the largest dementia units in Northern Michigan. He did his medical school in India with residency and fellowship trainings at UT Southwestern Austin and University of Michigan Ann Arbor.

When someone has epilepsy or another seizure disorder, the stimuli presented during the test (such as a flashing light) may cause a seizure. However, the technician performing the EEG is trained to safely manage the situation should this occur.
