Legends of Aurora Sports Grill

Okay so Legends is our new favorite place to go! We had a fabulous little waitress who took great care of us all night long - by the time we made it to Legends we'd all had a few beers too many and she was nice enough to point out their pitcher specials would save us a few bucks on beers. The bar itself is kind of split in two - one side has more of a dining feel and the other side has high top tables and tons of TV's. If you're into UFC they do play the big fights (we had no idea but the place got packed with fans by the time the fight started). There is also a nice little outdoor patio with a fire pit. For dinner we decided to try out an order of snakebites (grilled jalapeno halves wrapped in bacon) which were amazingly delicious - just hot enough, smokey from the grill, crispy bacon and oozing with cheese. We also got a $12 large pizza with pepperoni and meatballs. The crust was wood fired and the meatballs were perfectly juicy and well seasoned. A fabulous pizza! And the price was amazing! Overall, we loved the food, the prices, the service and of course the cheap beer! We'll be headed back to Legends soon - it's our new favorite bar in Aurora!

We've dined at Legends for years. Even better after the smoking prohibition went into effect. TV's everywhere as you'd expect in a sports bar. Food is great -- we recommend the cal zone special, which is two cal zones for only $12. Fill your own choice of ingredients or have one of theirs, they're all good. Gets busy on Friday or Saturday nights, pretty quiet Saturday for lunch. Nice staff.

My husband and I love this place! The food is excellent no matter what you order. The pizza and the calzones are the best! Everything here is the right price too. They have awesome specials every day. Pitchers of Blue Moon are only $9 (I think) on Sun nights. They have fun nights like trivia on Tues, bingo on Wed, and karoake on Sat. The waitstaff is great and most of them are pretty friendly. We've only had one poor waitstaff experience in the zillion times we've been there

When I'm in Aurora, this is by far my favorite place to go! The food is fantastic! The pizza has some of the best crust I've ever had, not too thick, not too thin and perfectly flavored. The calzones are enormous and overflowing with filling; I easily have enough left over for my next-day cravings. It must be said though, I tend to watch my figure, so I usually go for the Avocado Mandarin salad, which never leaves me hungry since it's a dinner-sized portion.

If we're in the neighborhood during the day, we go with our kids because they love the games and pizza there. On Saturday nights when we're having some adult time, we stop in for the drinks and karaoke! Great fun!

The servers are always attentive and friendly too! If you're into watching football or fights, there are TV's everywhere. Overall, this is a great, local business that's head and shoulders above the chain-chow that we're used to where we live.
