Dr. Twamley offers the best of care. The patience, knowledge, courteous staff, accurate diagnosis, specific supplement recommendation and prompt service ensures I return again and keep Dr. Twamley as my family's eye doctor. His follow up care is impressive. I recommend him highly.

I was skeptical when I saw other posts but went to this office because of the convenient location and they accept my insurance. The facility was much nicer inside than out and the largest eye doctor office I have ever been to. The staff was helpful. I asked the doctor about macular degeneration because of a family history. The doctor answered my question, gave a brochure, some samples of a vitamin supplement and coupons for something they do not even sell in the office. The optical was nice and had a good selection. The sales help offered a pair of prescription sunglasses in addition to my no line bifocals with a good discount. Glasses are great and so happy to have my first pair of prescription sunglasses to use for the bright Texas sun.

I used a coupon for an eye exam plus 3 months of contact lenses and glasses First they told me that deal had expired and the glasses weren't included. After complaining, since the coupon had clearly not expired, I was told that they ran the wrong ad but that they would honor my coupon (as though they were doing me a favor). After wearing my contacts for a day they folded together and would not come unfolded (I've worn contacts for 10 years and this has never happened). Five out of 6 contacts folded together and became unusable, they agreed the product was clearly defective. The doctor gave me a trial pair in different brand. Then I was told I would have to pay the dramatic price difference - even though my original product was unusable - and it was agreed this was not my fault - but nothing could be done. When I asked for a refund from the Office Manager I was flatly denied. So I paid for 3 months of contacts and what I got was a lot of time wasted and one pair of usable (different brand) trial contacts. I would suggest going anywhere else but this place. Worse customer service than mobile phone companies. I have never felt so distrusted, igornant or worthless - when the product was clearly defective.

There are much better alternatives to this vision center. I'd recommend you go to one of them! Although its a new facility, the service after appointment is extremely poor. The average wait time is almost an hour. Even though there is a playroom in the center, small children are running around the business area like they're on a playground. Dr. Twamley is professional enough, but will speak to you as though you just received your Doctorate degree in Optometry... language is not layman friendly. While there, I heard numerous complaints concerning frames and lenses on back order, almost two months out. Thinking these were rare instances, I placed my order believing the technician when she told me my glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 business days. Guess what? I was not the exception! Sure enough, my glasses were back ordered too... About two months out. A fact they don't tell you when the order is placed. Terrible business, terrible service, uncomfortable place. Stay away from this place if you can possibly help it!

Busy friendly office with very knowledgeable doctors. After waiting about 20 minutes, which isn't long, I was treated well and brought my family a week later.

I took my kids in, and they charged my insurance company instead of vision. They removed an eye lash out of my daughters eye and charged $55. Then because they prescribed an eye allergy medicine they charged it to insurance and charged $212 per child. Now instead of the free eye exam I should have had I have to pay $90.58.
