So I come to the sleep center the following week and get “hooked up” for the sleep study after giving them my payment. I But I figure, it’s fine and I will just go to sleep and forget about the conditions. However, once I got to bed and attempted to sleep, the air conditioners started blasting uncomfortably in my face. (Apparently, the beds are positioned so that the AC vent is right in your face.) My face was freezing cold from the AC blast, so I kept tossing and turning, unable to sleep, for the first hour before I made my initial complaint to the techs. The room was freezing at this point. They said they would turn down the AC (or “up”, in terms of temperature). So five minutes after this, the air conditioner comes right back and begins blasting in my face again, extending my wakeful night. 30 minutes into this, I make another complaint, and I get a reply from the techs saying that they could not turn it off because the person in the other room getting another sleep study wanted it on.So I realize im probably not going to sleep, and I tell them that I should come back when either I can change rooms (I was told the other room’s AC wasn’t as direct to the face) or they can be more accommodating. I was told that I shouldn’t be charged since it was not my fault I couldn’t sleep, so I go home, thinking I can just reschedule.



However, the next day when I call them, I am told that I would have to pay again for another sleep study by the receptionist! I argue with them that it wasn’t my fault that I couldn’t sleep, and that I was told I shouldn’t be charged again,



Finally, only after the payment was stopped, did I get a response from global sleep’s manager complaining about the stop payment. I tell him that I would have worked something out with him before the stop payment, but he neglected to get in contact with me, apparently assuming that I would just simply pay for a nonexistent study and then go away. The manager’s initial response – instead of asking what we can do to work things out -- was to threaten to CALL THE POLICE on me since “intentionally bouncing checks is illegal”,





After a few back-and-forths, the only thing he offers is a few hundred dollar discount on a next study, only if I pay him the total amount in cash, which I found to be unreasonable. At this point, I lost all faith in the company and felt uncomfortable with the all-cash proposition, so I told him that I would rather not continue doing business with him, and I ask that I not be financially responsible for the initial test, since I didn’t sleep. Unsurprisingly, he replies that if I don’t pay now that they will get collections involved and the police.



Ultimately, this company should be ashamed of themselves. They have shown themselves to be extremely greedy individuals who have no sense of morality or compassion when it comes to a person’s circumstances. If they were a good business, they would have understood that it wasn’t my fault I could not sleep during the study and offered me a second study at no cost, especially considering that the payment was out-of-pocket. They just want your money, regardless if theyre entitled to it or not, and they will try to intimidate you with “collection agencies” and calls to the district attorney in order to collect it. Please, don’t make the mistake like I did and come here for a sleep study.

As a response to your negative review. You called asking my staff about proprietary information and got upset and started yelling at my staff. I advised my staff to just hang up the phone. You then called back and I answered. You were yelling and cursing at me and saying you were a personal friend of our Medical Director. I advised you to please call and talk to him. You were so mad that I would not give you this information. I find it funny that you called Global Sleep 2 days after our sign went up wanting proprietary information. You would not give your name (which leads me to believe that you are a competitor) and it was you that was cursing and yelling at us. I never once said a curse word or yelled at you. So please stop harrasing Global Sleep. We are all in the business to help people in need. People like you give good reputable businesses like Global a bad name and it is sad. In this day and age we should all be working together for the good of the patient not the mighty dollar. - CEO
