Dental Sealants
Dental Sealants are applied to protect teeth from decay. A dental sealant is a material applied to the chewing surfaces of the molars.

Composite fillings are aesthetic, long-lasting and requires less drilling away of the tooth structure than the silver silver amalgam fillings.

Veneers

Crowns
Sometimes the tooth that has been knocked out can be re-implanted, if you can get to the dentist right away. Make sure to pick up the tooth by the crown or enamel portion and NOT the root. If the tooth is dirty or contaminated it should gently be rinsed with milk or water. Store the tooth in milk, saline or saliva and get to a dentist quickly.
Bridges
Restoring the mouth with implants and a dental bridge is accomplished in two phases. The first phase is the surgical placement of the implants. They are left under the gums for several months while the bone attaches to them. After healing, the second phase.
Dental Bonding
The composite material used for fillings can also be used to repair minor chips and gaps that plague your smile. This process is called dental bonding. It is a cost-effective fix for small, cosmetic improvements.

Pulpotomy
A pulpotomy is needed if a cavity is deep and reaches the tooth pulp. If you suspect infection, contact us as soon as possible so it doesn’t infect other nearby teeth. This “baby root canal” will preserve your child’s tooth until the permanent tooth comes in.
Root Canal Treatment
Treatment of the “Root Canal” system (endodontic therapy) involves cleaning of the canal which is located in the middle of the root. Bacteria get inside, destroy the nerve and create an infection inside the tooth. Often the pain is unbearable. The infection spreads out the tip of the root and enters the bone. Sometimes the infection will drain out through the gum, but sometimes it may drain into deeper areas of the head and neck which may be life threatening.

Deep Cleaning

Dentures
A partial “plate” is a denture that replaces multiple teeth in one piece. They can be made of plastic or a combination of plastic and metal. These must be taken out at night.

Dental Implants
Routine brushing and flossing is required daily – just like your natural teeth. Your implants will not get decay, but you can lose bone around them. Implants are susceptible to bone loss if not cared for.
