I just ate there today for lunch. What is with their salsa? It tastes like Bar-B-Que sauce, literally the worst salsa I have ever tasted. Their green chili tastes like it is thickened with flour and beef bullion. The Chili relleno was fairly good.

For over 35 years, we've been serving New Mexican cuisine known for its flavorful palate that gives you a kick without being overwhelming. Come in to one of our three Albuquerque locations and try our chips and salsa - we guarantee you've never tried salsa like this. Enjoy our hacienda-style ambiance while savoring our menu of always-fresh authentic New Mexico classics. Our signature dish is the chile relleno. Each carefully selected Anaheim chile pepper is peeled, stuffed and roasted daily in our kitchen. We should warn you, they're very addicting. We're proudly locally owned since 1980. Many other restaurants and national chain eateries have come and gone in that time, and we're still one of Albuquerque's favorite places to eat. We invite you to have a seat and find out why.At Los Cuates, we're not one of those restaurants that gauges the quality of food by its hotness.
