Doctor Natalie Matthews and staff were absolutely wonderful, loving and caring, in the medical care they provided to both of my dogs. (My baby Skylar and my baby Hunter) Skylar and Hunter lived longer than their expected years, because of the professional, loving medical care they received from Dr Natalie and staff. I cannot day enough good about this crew!! They are the BEST!! When I have another dog, I will ONLY entrust his/her medical care to Dr Natalie Matthews and staff!!

Dr. Lewis, Dr. Matthews and their whole office staff were very kind & professional when our dog became ill while we were visiting Abilene. They kept us updated each day. They showed us the prices upfront. Very caring and loving with our dog.

All of key citys staff are friendly and helpfull. They saved my dogs life and cared for him like i would have at home.

The other comment about the shady pricing is pretty spot on. To avoid details from my personal situation I will be brief, the last time I went in I got charged 2.6 times what I was originally quoted. I attempted a reasonable negotiation offering them a chance to maintain me as their client. Needless to say they pretty much didn't care about keeping me.



Avoid this place at all cost. When I spoke with Ms. Lewis, at one point she laughed at my complaint and at another point was slapping the counter during our discussion. I cannot believe this person is allowed to handle animals. If she is that way with people just imagine how she could be with your pet.

Never in my life have I met a bunch of such rude, incompetent people!



We took our Doberman puppy to Key City to get his ears cropped and it's been nothing but trouble. We've had some problems and have been taking him back there for follow up and they're blaming US for following the aftercare procedures THEY laid out for us. He's just not responding to it and now the poor guy has an infection in his ears, which they're also blaming us for. We're just doing exactly what they said to do, and apparently it isn't working. They just do not get it.



Unfortunately this is the only place in Abilene that does ear crops. If you want to get your puppy's ears cropped, go out of town. Avoid this place at all costs. I'll be so glad to go back to our regular vet after all this is said and done.

Key City Vet and staff are the best. I have several special needs dogs and they have always been there to help as well as routine care. You can imagine that my vet bills are pretty high but Key City is not only competitive but they always make sure that I am kept informed about any costs and let me make the decision. I would recommend them to everyone.

I love Kim and Randy Lewis. they are the best!!! Becky is the best !!!!!! I feel their techs are less than professional and could be more customer friendly, there is only 2 techs I prefer not to see. kim and Randy has helped me thru difficult times with my babies. no one has more compassion and caring. in reference to another review. it is our responsibility to ask questions about price and treatment. just like people there is charges for Meds and such. be involved with care and treatment of your pets!!!!!!

am so upset about Key City Veterinay Clinic. I 'm never ever going to go there again.

My puppy just had a surgery.Before the surgery I asked them about the price . They never told me the entire cost of the surgey until we paid the bill. They just told me that the price is about $70~80.Of couce I thought it will included everything. But after the surgery I was so surprized because the price was double.

How come they didn't tell me about the whole price when I asked them. They could. I felt like they tricked me about the price.
